Subway — Restaurant in Statham

It saddens me to have to write a bad review but if someone is not willing to work with me and it causes problems for others I feel a rant is in order. When I walked into the Subway in Statham, GA there was only one person ahead of me. I didn't think I would be waiting in line too long. I waited patiently. A gentleman entered the store and took his place in line behind me. It was finally my turn. I had to pick up an order for 2 people.  I gave the young lady the 2 orders. I had a coupon for each order and the money I was given for the food. As she was completing my order I noticed more people had entered the store.

I explained I only had one coupon and asked if I needed to return to my vehicle and get the other coupon. She said I did not need the other coupon. She rang up my order and I told her she had charged me full price for one. She pointed out I only had one coupon. I reminded her I had asked her if she needed the other coupon and she had said no. I asked if I should go out and get the other coupon. I pointed out it would inconvenience me as well as the people behind me in line. She said yes. I left the food on the counter and returned with the additional coupon. She rang up the order. I pointed out that she had still overcharged me for one of the sandwiches. She then told me I couldn't use 2 coupons on one order. I asked if I should go out to my vehicle and have my friend come in and pay for one order. She said yes. I said I would go out and ask her if she wanted to come in or go elsewhere. Once again I left the food on the counter and returned to my vehicle and explained to my friend what was going on and asked her if she would like to walk in with me or would she prefer to go elsewhere. We walked into the store and proceeded to the counter. The food was no longer on the counter. She had thrown the bag of food in the trash. Since was helping another customer we gave her time to finish. She did not acknowledge us so my friend asked her if she could complete our order. She began making more sandwiches. I wasn't aware the sandwiches were replacements for our order. She never bothered to ask us if they were correct. She wrapped them and bagged the food and rang up the order. She still rang it up incorrectly. She then rang up one sandwich and took the money and the coupon from my friend. She then rang up another sandwich and once again took the coupon and money from my friend. So why did I have to return to my vehicle twice to complete the order. She could have taken the coupons and the money from me in beginning instead of displaying bad customer service and inconveniencing her customers. I told my friend if she wanted sandwiches again she would have to go in and get them or at least call and make sure this young lady is not working before I...

I hate to complain about things but this has to be said I’m 56 and all the times I’ve been to subway I’ve never had these types of problems . As I entered the store I went to the restroom first thing, as I went in the bathroom it was dirty and bug catchers under the sink, when I went to throw my napkin away there was dead bugs by the trash!!! After using the restroom I ordered my food the service wasn’t good at all rushed me and also had no hair net on which in case when I got home there was a peace of hair in my food which was very upsetting knowing I’ve heard from winders subway that the manager and others the mgr hired consume hard drugs in which a lady that had tattoos was talking to a customer in-front of me informing her of the bad conditions both stores I’ve been to have. There manger which in case I’ve heard about why living in statham is very rude to her workers and I’ve once over heard her try to correct someone about MY food I was paying extra for I apologize to the young woman working for the fact she was correctly making my order. I love to get lunch here when I get off work but the place gets worse and worse I’ve tried winder subway and it’s no better that statham. I use a lot of review apps most of the time, I use tripadvisor and the pictures attached are from a review from a worker it made me sick to my stomach knowing I’ve ate from this place it’s nasty and disturbing on how they keep up...

I was in there tonight sunday night at 8:45 pm. Two young boys were working. Matthew and Dustin. Dustin took my nephews order of a 6 inch grilled chicken ana a 6 inch steak and cheese. First Dustin never asked if we wanted our sandwiches heated. He put a cold chicken pattie on the bun with cheese. Asked what sauce we wanted on it first. Before i could say to heat it then he asked what vegetables. Matthew took great care of the steak and cheese. He heated it up perfectly. My foot long blt was great. Then Dustin put the veges on..... Again he put sauce first. Everyone else does it last. Dustin "wrapped"the sandwiches. When i got home i had to rebuild the sandwiches. He left one end unwrapped and he forced my footlong in bag. When i called to complain nobody answered. Second call someone pick up hung up. Third time Matthew answered. He was apologetic. But i wont never let that dustin wait on me again....
