Starbucks — Restaurant in Staunton

I will be trying to contact Starbucks as best as I can to list my concerns but wanted to leave my thoughts here in the meantime. First of all the workers at Starbucks seem adamantly ready and pleased to take your order. No matter how busy it takes due to Starbucks popularity. A lot of the workers seem young enough to give the working class a big optimistic hope moving forward.

Lastly but not least, I had the privilege of trying the lavender matcha beverage that was released.

I unfortunately was not pleased with the lack of purple color (lavender or lavender syrup). Once obtain the matcha beverage held no resemblance to the drink being advertised. Which left me concerned for potential customers wanting to purchase said drink. When I say there was no purple in the lavender matcha I am not under compensating. There was literally no purple or lavender to be seen.

My hope is that Starbucks and it's employees can resolve the issues by creating the drink in a way the matches what is advertised on there front door. Half matcha, half lavender or 65% matcha and 35% lavender.

Updated review: Busy Saturday, rated 3 stars down from 5. The outside and inside tables were messy, dirty, not usable. Trash cans overflowing. I waited 20 minutes for an online order and after asking, they assumed someone took it because they couldn't find the drink or the sticker. It still took another 20 minutes to get my 1 drink. After waiting all that time they used regular milk, which I'm allergic to, and I wasn't able to drink my coffee. Will not return.

We arrived just before closing on a Saturday night. Staff still was friendly and efficient even though they likely just wanted to go home. Happy to help us with our questions. Drinks made correctly, with substitutions, and food prepared correctly and hot. They have a great selection of bagged coffee and cups and mugs. Clean restrooms. Will return when back...

On Monday we purchased coffee and sandwiches and sat at a table or to eat. Unfortunately flies everywhere! On tables, windows, on the counter where there are condiments. The most I counted was 11. In addition, many flies were on the trash can that was full of trash. The counter was sticky with beverage spills. Flies love this Starbucks! I asked and received a wet rag fr staff and cleaned our table. I told the busy staff there are so many flies. "We know". Is the manager here? "No." We hastily ate and left. Dirty. If there are many flies up to 11 around 2 tables and counter, how many flies are flying around, landing on cups, liquid containers and food in the preparation area? Swat flies before opening and remediate. Terrible to reply we know there are flies. I'll visit Waynesboro Starbucks...
