As someone from out of state, I was excited to try something new. However, I was extremely disappointed with this whole experience. The BBQ Plate is dog food with hot sauce on it. Absolutely disgusting. I even ate a second bite thinking I just got a bad bite. Nope. Gross. It even looked terrible when I opened it, but decided to give it a try anyway. I almost threw up at the smell and look of it. Didn’t even get my fries, and don’t get a milkshake if you’re driving. Apparently you can only eat those with a spoon. I had to wipe off my dog food covered spoon with a baby wipe to be able to eat that. Absolutely nothing special about this place. Just go to Chick Fil A next door.

Cook Out in Staunton, VA, is a great spot for quick and cheap fast food. The burgers have that char-grilled flavor, and the milkshakes are rich and delicious with tons of flavor options. The menu is straightforward but offers enough variety to keep things interesting, and the prices are hard to beat. Service is fast and efficient, even when they’re busy, and the staff is friendly. I laughed my arse off when they handed me 4 onion rings. It’s not a place you go for ambiance—it’s all about the food. If you’re looking for a no-frills, tasty meal on the go, Cook Out is worth a stop.

Cook Out is a fantastic spot for a quick, tasty, and affordable meal! The menu has something for everyone—burgers, BBQ, hot dogs, and even quesadillas. The Cook Out Tray is an amazing deal, letting you pick an entree with two sides and a drink, and the portion sizes are generous. I also loved the milkshake selection with tons of unique flavors; each one is rich, creamy, and worth trying. The food has that backyard-grilled taste, especially the burgers. Fast service, friendly staff, and great value. Perfect for comfort food cravings!

First and last time going here. We stopped on our road trip and wanted something new. This place seemed interesting. Upon entering, I noticed allergen signs for peanuts. I asked what oil they used to ensure that it wasn't peanut oil. The cashier looked at me like I was crazy for asking. I repeated the question again and explain I was allergic. The cashier went to ask and then came back and stared at me. I asked a third time and then I was finally told oh vegetable oil in a way I should have magically known what the answer was when they went to ask the question. We asked about the menu and how combos worked. We placed our order. The portion size was very small. The meat was questionable at best. Money wasted. There were more flies than I would have preferred in the establishment....

Ordering the tray which I do recommended it so that you can try different foods and is cheaper. The tray includes 2 sides or can double up the sides. The place is clean. The staff that works there are nice. One of the staff explain to me what food includes into the price and what need to pay additional money. The big double burger are smaller than I expected. In it is 2 thin patties. I do recommended take regular hamburger which people say are bigger than the double burger. Overall the price of the food is good price. The food is delicious. Their milkshakes are cold and thick as an ice cream. Need to eat with a spoon. I enjoy that place and would come back to this restaurant. I do recommended this...
