I had the pleasure of dining at this remarkable family-owned Indian restaurant, and it was an experience that left a lasting impression. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality that made me feel like a part of their extended family. The menu showcased a diverse selection of authentic Indian dishes, each one crafted with a perfect balance of flavors and spices that transported me to the streets of India.

What truly stood out was the evident passion and dedication that the family put into every aspect of the dining experience. The aromatic spices, fresh ingredients, and traditional cooking techniques resulted in dishes that were nothing short of exceptional. Whether it was the rich and flavorful curries, the tandoor-grilled delights, or the assortment of vegetarian options, each dish was a masterpiece in its own right.

The ambiance was cozy and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a family meal or an intimate dinner. The staff, many of whom were family members themselves, were not only knowledgeable about the menu but also eager to share stories behind the recipes and the restaurant's history.

Dining at this family-owned Indian restaurant wasn't just about enjoying a delicious meal; it was about embracing the love and dedication that went into every dish. It's a testament to the power of family traditions and culinary heritage. If you're in search of an authentic and heartwarming Indian dining experience, I wholeheartedly recommend...

From the outside, it’s quite unassuming, especially as it’s next to a gas station/convenience store. Heard some buzz over the last few months, all positive, but expected the standard Indian fare that we’ve had in the area for years. So was in no big rush to go. Finally went this week, and now so sorry I waited as long as I did. First off, the interior is much nicer than one would expect, simple white cloth tablecloths and napkins, simple yet elegant decor. Ordered an appetizer sampler, fresh and crispy. Entrees ordered were Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Korma, and Lamb Vindaloo along with Garlic Naan and Sea Salt and Cilantro Naan. All were excellent ! The accompanying rice was just right, the dipping sauces yummy. The only less than perfect items were the desserts. Pistachio ice cream (Pista Kulfi) and Rice Pudding (Kheer) lacked overall flavor (the only reason the food rating was 4 instead of 5). Service was exceptional, extra rice was quickly brought when requested. We left with very full bellies, and within minutes were talking about when we would next be going. The prices are a bit higher than I expected (especially the drinks and desserts) but the quality of atmosphere, service, and food makes it worth the extra dollars...

WOW! Kudos and bravo! We wandered in this afternoon and we're BLOWN AWAY! Everything was delicious and authentic and KJ and his staff did everything to make us feel appreciated! This is an absolute MUST TRY and new personal favorite!

Appetizers- traditional veg samosa to cilantro chili chicken to paneer pakora layered with spice inside and spicy, creamy tomato soup.

Main- lamb vindaloo, desi butter chicken and eggplant each perfectly seasoned and authentic with fresh ginger and garlic and chilis. There were mini marinated whole onions in the vindaloo!!

Mango lassi flavorful without being too sweet.

Fresh salted green mango juice was refreshing and clean.

Mango and rice pudding deserts were a delightfully light ending

I will be driving from Richmond specifically to eat here! Wonderful meal made my day!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Great job!!!!

Ps- I've had Indian all over the USA and grew up with an Indian best friend who's mother was an excellent cook...so this is not my...

We stumbled upon Curry Cuisine Authentic Indian Kitchen while stopping for gas—and what a great find! The restaurant was very clean when we walked in, which was a nice first impression. We ordered the Kathi rolls—one chicken and one lamb—and both were absolutely delicious. While not overly spicy, they had a beautiful blend of authentic Indian flavors. The rolls included chickpeas and a sweet tamarind sauce, which added a nice touch. We also tried the lamb biryani, which was equally impressive. It wasn’t too spicy on its own but was packed with layers of rich, aromatic flavors. The lamb was perfectly tender. They provided a spicy sauce on the side, and when mixed with the biryani, it elevated the dish to another level. I only wish we lived closer so we could come back and try more of their menu. If you're in the area, don’t miss this place—it’s a hidden gem!

Seriously a crime that this place isn't constantly packed (it flies under the radar because it's attached to a Shell/7-Eleven). The food is insanely good and the staff is wonderful. The owner KJ is such a genuine delight and has had like 24 restaurants in 7 countries before moving out here to be near friends and family. If you're not sure what to order at an Indian restaurant but you're curious, butter chicken is always a great option (tomato based sauce despite the name, if you're not familiar). And at this restaurant, there are two versions available. I strongly recommend their specialty version, Desi Butter Chicken. We are so lucky to have this level of quality Indian food around here. I took my DC friend here a couple months ago and she was shocked and now makes a point to pick up from here anytime she has to come out this way lol.
