I had the pleasure of dining at this remarkable family-owned Indian restaurant, and it was an experience that left a lasting impression. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality that made me feel like a part of their extended family. The menu showcased a diverse selection of authentic Indian dishes, each one crafted with a perfect balance of flavors and spices that transported me to the streets of India.
What truly stood out was the evident passion and dedication that the family put into every aspect of the dining experience. The aromatic spices, fresh ingredients, and traditional cooking techniques resulted in dishes that were nothing short of exceptional. Whether it was the rich and flavorful curries, the tandoor-grilled delights, or the assortment of vegetarian options, each dish was a masterpiece in its own right.
The ambiance was cozy and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a family meal or an intimate dinner. The staff, many of whom were family members themselves, were not only knowledgeable about the menu but also eager to share stories behind the recipes and the restaurant's history.
Dining at this family-owned Indian restaurant wasn't just about enjoying a delicious meal; it was about embracing the love and dedication that went into every dish. Read moreFrom the outside, it’s quite unassuming, especially as it’s next to a gas station/convenience store. Heard some buzz over the last few months, all positive, but expected the standard Indian fare that we’ve had in the area for years. So was in no big rush to go. Finally went this week, and now so sorry I waited as long as I did. First off, the interior is much nicer than one would expect, simple white cloth tablecloths and napkins, simple yet elegant decor. Ordered an appetizer sampler, fresh and crispy. Entrees ordered were Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Korma, and Lamb Vindaloo along with Garlic Naan and Sea Salt and Cilantro Naan. All were excellent ! The accompanying rice was just right, the dipping sauces yummy. The only less than perfect items were the desserts. Pistachio ice cream (Pista Kulfi) and Rice Pudding (Kheer) lacked overall flavor (the only reason the food rating was 4 instead of 5). Service was exceptional, extra rice was quickly brought when requested. We left with very full bellies, and within minutes were talking about when we would next be going. The prices are a bit higher than I expected (especially the drinks and desserts) but the quality of atmosphere, service, and food makes it worth the extra dollars...
