Chuck E. Cheese — Restaurant in Sterling Heights

I attended a birthday party on 23 of October 2021. I purchased a beer and then another. Now both times there were no signs or did any tell me that they limit how many adult beverages one can have. That being said, my sister and I both had a beer. At some point we got beers confused and she drank mine. Now she was going to her car to get a gift so I asked if she could get another beer for me. No problem, right. Ten minutes later the manager, I think, REBECCA came over to the party and started questioning very rudely who bought the beer and who was drinking it. We all looked kind of dumb founded because what was wrong, we did not know. So now I said my sister bought it for me, what is the problem? Now we are both over 50 years old so it is not illegal drinking what was the matter. She stated VERY RUDE AND MEAN that we can only have 2 beers. I told her the situation and said there are no signs or postings to that stated that. Also no one told us at time of purchase. Now, she said you can't drink this usually I would still drink it, it was paid for so I am drinking it! However my little nephew was there so I told her this is stupid and decided to address after his party. Not to upset my little nephew more than he was. After I went to counter and asked for manager it was REBECCA, I said since you took my drink I would like my money back. Being to once poured no refunds! Well that was not my decision you took it, she denied. Now my nephew asks if chucke was mad and can he nor come here anymore. He was very upset. So again I told her I need your upper management info to which REBECCA said it is online in a tone that was so condescending and belittling. Now I am really angry. I asked for her name again that is on line. This whole incident was stressful to me and my family and this person, Rebecca, needs to be removed. Her public skills and handling of patrons is more than atrocious! I would not give my business to a company such as this. I have contacted corporate, not seeing much being addressed as if yet! Will be contacting any and all consumer advocates I can find to convey this information to in weeks to come. I was made to feel like a criminal for nothing and REBECCA put a horrible stress on my nephew on his birthday, this is not...

I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER give this place another penny EVER. In the past I booked a party here and it was great, the host was very attentive and actually helped out with the party! This time was just terrible and it caught me off guard! I just did a party for my child here and I must say the vibes were completely off. Our host did the bare minimum for our table and she wasn’t attentive at all and this actually led to poor communication that made my experience even worse. I feel like a fool for paying over $300 for bad attitudes and crappy customer service. You’re better off throwing a party in your basement and saving your money than going to Chuckie Cheese they truly don’t care and the host I had was awful when I tell you she just wanted the evening to be over it was very obvious, she didn’t stop at our table to help clear the plates either as they piled up, she didn’t check on us and gave poor instructions when it came time to sing Happy Birthday, it was a mess! Basically she acted like she wanted us to do everything by ourselves clearly. What’s the point in having a host if they’re trying avoid truly assisting your table?? All I could do was stay calm and refrain from losing my temper because that’s how frustrated I was and I didn’t want to make a scene on my child’s birthday or in front of my family. They really don’t want to even be there you can tell their employees hate their jobs. Absolute trash, and the thing is all it takes a lazy moody nonchalant employee to throw off the entire party and make customers not want to come back ever again. This place is utterly disgusting it's unbelievable what you see in their food every day!! I went with my family today and I purchased a salad plate for $7.99 and as I was eating my salad I find this huge Bee just laying there in my salad and this is my first plate like not even my second or third!!! like do these workers there even check the stuff they put out before serving it to customers or what!? this was honestly very disgusting experience and I'm for sure never coming back and they don't even return your money they say that oh it was just a mistake well they should've checked twice before serving their food because if I hadn't seen that bug in my food I would've ate it and got very sick !!! Also when you need help or you just waiting in line to order something you have to wait at least a good 15 to 25 minutes for someone to even come out to the register!!! I swear to god these people are not good at their jobs like what employee lets their customers wait a good 15-25 minutes at a register just to get tokens or food or something!? this place better be checked out before anyone actually ends up eating a disgusting bug in their food and gets very sick!!!
