Well, the curly fries are ok - unfortunately its all downhill from there.
First off, when pulling up to the drive through, it became apparent that all of the employees talk to each other over their intercom system - that would be fine, except its not all work related AND you can hear everything they're saying over the speaker when you pull up to the drive through. Some of the conversations I overheard are not appropriate for work or disparage customers - this was just pathetic and sad to see.
Next up is the food - the burger was very tough and dry on the outside and smelled and tasted excessively like natural gas and soot - so much so that it was on the verge of tasting like wet dog (GROSS!). The fries were fresh, but they are pretty mildly seasoned - also the girl who handed me my order didn't put ANY napkins in the bag or ask if I wanted any ketchup or salt. When I went inside to ask for some ketchup, the girl I asked tried to hand me about 30 packets (I just wanted 3) and they were all covered in something sticky and gross - I hope it was honey because thats the consistancy of what was all over my hands.
Maybe they just don't know what they're doing at this location, but for the money you spend, I'd rather go to burger king next door - somehow their burgers taste better and are healthier (way less fat) than ANYTHING at Hardees (how the heck do you have 1200+ calorie breakfast sandwiches - it's not like they're huge or anything.)
Don't like crappy reviews? Then do...
Read moreAfter my first visit in a long time, I gave a 5 star review. Today I went back and spent the rest of the day feeling guilty about having a 5 star review out there. I know now that my 5 star experience isn’t the normal. It seems maybe things are only done right when specific people are there. I remember the girl with the colorful marc jacobs bag. She was there when I got hot fresh food, made to order.
Today I practically begged for the same and took my family with me. My mom and I ordered the exact same sandwich. Her bread was toasted to the point of being greasy and crumbling. Mine wasn’t toasted at all. Frisco burgers taste awful on thick untoasted sourdough bread covered in mayo. The fries were so stale they were inedible and the burgers had no flavor. They tasted like they were poorly cooked on a flat top, not a flame. Last time I tasted the char. This time, nothing.
It’s really the difference between making hot, fresh food and being lazy cooking food ahead of time and letting it sit, then serving it anyway when a customer finally arrives. It really frustrates me. You don’t even have the volume to precook a bunch of food and let it sit. You SHOULD be making food to order.
I was completely embarrassed after getting my family excited to taste Hardee’s again.

Read moreI went with my brother today because he bragged about how good his food was last time he went. That was clearly a one time thing because my burger definitely wasn’t charred like the one he had before or the ones I see in these photos. I’m not sure how they cooked them but they were not charbroiled or cooked on a flame at all. They had zero flavor. The fries just tasted old and drenched in salt. I couldn’t eat more than the first one. I see how this place could be so empty with so much traffic driving by nonstop. They must know better lol. The mello yello was really good though! If it’s one thing my family hates, it’s people who don’t care about embarrassing the entire brand. Follow the process given. Don’t just do whatever suits you that day. Don’t serve oven cooked or flat top burgers if the burgers are supposed to be charbroiled. They taste different and we are not stupid. Don’t lie to us and tell us something is made to order then hand us one bag before we can even get the next order placed. The first thing my brother said was “That was really fast, last time I waited for it to cook but it was so worth it”. Well today it was fast which made perfect sense because it tasted...
