Troja Albanian Cuisine — Restaurant in Sterling Heights

PLEASE CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE LEAVING THE ESTABLISHMENT! I made the mistake a few times and what I specifically asked for, get charged for, wasn’t even in the box. I got the 5 piece cevapi dinner with fries. I specifically asked for the Kajmak(the cream cheese that goes with the cevapi). This is the third time they charged me for it, and didn’t put it in my carry out. The other two times I let it go, and ate my cevapi dinner dry without the kajmak, but this time I specifically brought my food back up there. By this time my food is cold, fries are cold. She gave me the kajmak and apologized, but I am no longer going here again. No offer to remake the fries which I couldn’t even eat when I got back home a second time. I work in the service industry and always check the food before giving it to a customer. I always tip well and everything, so I’m a bit disappointed with this establishment and why it’s more than twice they forget what I specifically asked for. I’m going to go to Jakob’s grill...

The food was decent but my real issue was the price for drinks. They don't have water for free so you can only get bottled water ( kirkland brand ). They charge $4.00 per bottle of water, 4.50 if you get a lemonade or something similar. So we each got a water and a lemonade with our meals ( 5 of us ). We ended up paying $42.50 just for our waters and canned lemonade not including our food. Kirkland waters when you buy them from costco end up being about 10 cents a piece that means they are marking up the water 40 times what it cost them to purchase it. They also charge a 3 percent fee for anyone that uses a card to pay. Who ever carries cash on them anymore? The food was decent but the business gets 2 stars due to what i consider high level greed. The worst bread in my life. It's so hard like a Rock and home made nasty bread. Overall Burger was tasteless and was stale meat smell. Very expensive comparing awful food as Albanian and it was our first time experience with Albanian food restaurant and never again. On top of that they charge additional +3% extra on Credit Card payment. Don't waste your money in there. My wife wanted a simple glass of ice water and they don't have it and they gave us 2 bottle water. It cost $3 each.
