Leonardo's Coffeehouse & Renaissance Coffee Roasting Co. — Restaurant in Steubenville

Hello and good day! Thank you for taking the time to read my review!

Today was my first time in Lenardo's to purchase anything (I love the popcorn shop next door).

I got the pepperoni panini and a hot apple cider. My lunch date got an iced Mocha Lisa (she said it was really delishious!). I got my husband a bowl of the chicken tortilla soup.

My panini was absolutely delish! The melty mozzarella was such good quality cheese and the pepperoni was a nice thick stack! It was just all ooey gooey yumm! It was wrapped in the coolest paper! I also got a free sample of their kettle corn alonf eith it. My cider was ok. I wish they gave an option for spiced cider :) my husband said the chicken tortilla soup was alright but there was a flavor profile to it that wasn't hitting the spot. I did not try it as he's feeling under the weather.

Definitely a place I will enjoy coffee/lunch dates with friends more often. It's such a cool building and vibe.

I used to always love coming to this place when I pass through on my travels.... but today was not the experience I had before. First of all, I ent to the bathroom before ordering and was chased down by one of the young female workers here, and I said that I was going to buy something in a minute! I could tell that it was from judgement upon me, with my traveling pack, my tattoos, and my service animal... so after buying my coffee and having a seat, ready to enjoy - she decides to come over again, asking innapropiate questions about my service dog - for the fact that it was obvious... she wanted authority over me and didn't like me one bit for one reason or another, and seeminlgly really wanted an excuse to kick me out. I did not appreciate being sought out repeatedly, simply for existing and doing as any other customer would do here. Needless to say... I will not be coming back. Very unwelcoming and borderline harassing- to a disabled person...

Best coffee shop! Pass up those corporate owned stores and get some delicious coffee that's been roasted in house. Love it? Then also pick up a bag of freshly roasted beans for at home as well. They will even grind them for you if you ask. I absolutely love this place. It's a hidden gem in downtown Steubenville that I frequent multiple times a week. The atmosphere is just fabulous and you can't beat the delicious smell throughout the shop. If you are in town for college, for a meeting, or just hanging out, this is the place....
