Belt's is an amazing soft-serve ice cream stand and a wonderful, long-standing community business! Their ice cream is very cheap, especially considering how much you get (don't get a large unless you are totally prepared for the eating contest)! They have a wide variety of mix-ins that they make in house and utilize a variety of local fruits when they are in-season.

People might mention stuff about "long lines" and all that garbage, but really...we wait in line because it is good ice cream for a good price at a good business! One of the best things about Belts is that it is a community favorite! We camp outside to await the opening in the spring, even when it is still snowing! Loved coming here all my life growing up in Stevens Point, used to be my favorite place to go. However the first time I went this year really upset me how the presentation and service has changed. Prices have increased significantly throughout the years and my normal order of a flurry was, 1. Not mixed all the way through and 2. Had no big chunks of toppings on the top of the flurry. So essentially I am paying more, and getting less. The service provided lacked confidence and efficiency. They couldn’t remember flavors/toppings and mixed up multiple orders to guests in front of us. I was pretty shocked and disappointed, especially during a time when small business needs support...I was expecting a little more well put together presentation. Definitely will be considering...

For most people likely a 5. But for me it is actually lower as I can not enjoy most of their wares. They offer 1 dairy free alternative- the slushy carbonated like and Icee or traditional style in a variety of fun fruit flavors for those with dairy allergies. They do have a wide variety of flavor choices and items for the dairy inclined. They have giant volcano cones that have teeny tiny baby ice cream cones full of warm sundae toppings such as fudge or marshmallow. They have sundaes, shakes, "smoothies" not the typical yogurt kind ( banana has ice cream, banana, and bana slushy syrup), flurries, malts, root beer floats, and banana splits.
