North Point Pub — Restaurant in Stevens Point

My wife and I had lunch on Friday Oct 25th. We were immediately greeted by the bartender so great start. We ordered a couple of beers, a fish sandwich, fries and a cup of claim chowder. The fish and fries were fantastic. Unfortunately the chowder had zero salt and lacked flavor. The base was there but the chowder needed salt and some spice/flavor.

I was honest with the bartender when she asked us how lunch was going. After describing the chowder as very bland, she told me they don’t add salt because they get a lot of complaints. Why serve bad chowder. You have to have no taste buds to know the chowder was tremendously under seasoned. My wife and are foodies dining all over the US so believe me when I say the chowder was flavorless. Fix the chowder and we will be back...
