MANAGER/OWNER PLEASE READ (I just realized I accidentally made this review for the other burger king in town, but here’s the correct one.) Me and my good friend were hungry later at night and decided on Burger King, as neither of us had eaten there in ages. We didn’t want to wait in a line of cars, so we ordered on the app. Together we got two meals, one being a chicken fry meal and one being a jr bacon cheeseburger meal. Incase you aren’t aware, meals come with a drink and a side, this is important for later. We also ordered an extra side of cheesy tots to share. We arrived at Burger King at around 7:15pm. This Burger King’s drive thru is open until 8pm, but the lobby/dining room closes at 7pm, also important information. There wasn’t a soul or car around that building if you don’t count the single (employee?) car. We go through the drive thru and we are greeted by someone asking us if we would like to order. I tell her that I made an online order and she tells me to pull up to the window. This is where everything goes wrong. When we get to the window, we are immediately handed a large Dr Pepper, and the employee turns around and goes back into the kitchen before I could say anything. Neither of us got a large drink, or a Dr Pepper, but luckily my friend ended up drinking it. We waited in the drive thru for around 10 minutes before the employee comes back to the window, and visibly annoyed, she asked us what order we had. I tell her again what the name on the order was, and she proceeds to ask me what was in it. Coming from a food service background and current food service worker, I fully understand asking that question when your screens are backed up and have to verify what food goes to who, but we were the ONLY people near that building, let alone ordering. I could also see into the building from the window and could see my order on the screen, and it was in fact the only one. I told her that my order was the one with two meals and a side of cheese tots, and two medium drinks. She looks back at her screen and at that point I bring up my phone with the order on it. She looks at it for a second and asks me “so just the cheeseburger and the fries?” and before I could even answer, she’s back in the kitchen again. At this point I knew for sure that this order was going to be nowhere near correct. A minute later she comes back with a very small bag, and I could tell from a mile away that we aren’t getting everything we ordered, or our drinks. She goes to hand me the bag and as I’m reaching out to take it, I ask her if the two MEALS are in here, and if we’ll get our drinks. She said that our order is all in this tiny bag and didn’t even mention the drinks. She shut the window again, and disappeared into the kitchen/back of the building. I waited for another minute before I realized she’s not coming back. And if you remember from before, I could not go inside because the dining room was closed. Once we parked away from the building, lo and behold, there were only two of the 7 items we ordered inside. We received only my jr bacon cheeseburger and my friends chicken fries. We ended up missing our cheesy tots, both of our fries, both of our drinks, and my friends side of bbq sauce. The total for my order was $27, and we ended up with around maybe $7 of food. The most confusing part of it all, was that my cheeseburger, which I customized, was fully correct. In that case, whoever was working in the kitchen, did in fact see the screen with the rest of our order on it, and somehow forgot 80% of the order. That night I ended up going into the app I ordered the food on, and used their chatbot to try and get into contact with someone to help me get a refund. I told the bot everything that was missing, and was told that I would get a response within 24-48 hours. This happened last week, and I’ve submitted a complaint twice with still no word back. I guess the little food we got was pretty good taste wise, but we won’t be back, along with many,...
Read moreI rarely write reviews, especially ones that are likely to be scathing. I've worked in food service and customer service way too long to be "that guy". Today is the exception.
Every visit to this location is an exercise in patience. My husband and I go often, our order is always messed up. Frustration is the usual experience. We like Burger King, though, so we keep going back.
No more. Never again.
Today, my son and I went through the drive-thru with a friend. Ordered one double bacon and cheese Whopper, extra cheese, a spicy chicken sandwich, and a spicy chicken sandwich with lettuce only. We got our food, and drove away. I called a few minutes later to clarify with the manager why there were fries in our bag, as we hadn't ordered them, and I couldn't check the receipt because we weren't given one. He assured me it was just a mistake, and that we weren't charged for them. My son opens his sandwich, it's spicy chicken with everything BUT lettuce. So I called again, so they'd have a heads up that we were coming back. The manager hung up on me. We drove back, and the manager thrust the receipt out the drive-thru window without even letting us speak. We them communicated the error, and they remade my son's sandwich. Fine. Good. Shame on me for not checking my food before leaving, however. We get home, and my double whopper is a single. I called to tell the manager, completely embarrassed that I had to call again. I hate complaining. I apologized for having to call back. He told me I could come back and get a replacement. So, I've already wasted half an hour trying to get the order corrected. I need to drive back AGAIN to get what I ordered in the first place? He wrote my name down for a replacement. I thanked him and wished him a good day. He hung up on me without responding.
I went to complete the Customer Satisfaction survey, only to find that the store location number isn't listed on the receipt, so I can't actually do the survey. Neat.
Missing food/inaccurate orders, and lacking customer service will be your experience if you visit this location. There's nothing you can do about it, either....
Read moreWe went here at about 10:45 am 10/1/22 and ordered two #12s with rootbeer and a Texas Double Whopper with coke. The lady taking our order was talking to her coworkers (forgot to turn off her mic or something?) the entire time she took our order and kept asking us to repeat ourselves. We heard her saying “there’s nothing u have to do, they are already made up” which sounded kinda gross but, we were still hoping for good food that we ordered. She put our order into the computer correctly but then we overheard her telling her staff that we ordered Dr. peppers. So, when we pulled up to the window we asked to make sure they were root beers and she said yes, but when we got our order they were all dr. Peppers just like we thought. She never asked if we wanted ketchup, let alone dipping sauce for our two orders of chicken fingers. She spoke to her coworkers the entire time she handed us our drinks and order. Our fries were great but the whopper was not q Texas double whopper and the patties were lukewarm, the cheese slice was falling off the side. By this point I knew I wanted to leave a review but SHE NEVER GAVE US A RECEIPT so now, not only can I not take the service survey but also, no opportunity for a free whopper either. A google review is the best I could do. I wish I could follow up with corporate because I like having a Burger King in this area, I love the food, but bad service is not going to do this place well, or make me want to come back....
