This was my 3rd visit to this place because I wanted to be sure. My first experience was so pleasant and amazing that I decided to bring my girlfriends out to enjoy the atmosphere. My second time I would give a 5 because we waited 1 hour to even get a waitress which was rather a very slow night so we just had drinks and left. Now this time I am certain I won't be returning. First off the manager was extremely nice as she greeted us with bottled water (Thursday night). We sat at the bar where Ms. TONI was our waitress/bartender. Me coming from a waitressing background myself i always try to be super polite. Since this was my first time ordering food I asked what was her favorite dish she said the Rasta Pasta. I ordered that with salmon and shrimp. She took my order ran off so quickly that she forgot to take my husband's order. I kept trying to get her attention and though not busy she ignored me, it wasn't until the manager told her that hey the young lady needs you that she decided to help even 10 mins later then. I told hey you forgot to take his order she acted as if she mistakenly ignored me and apologized. Of by this time my food came out first and we didn't eat together. My food was flavorless and tasted of pure salt with parmesan. The salmon was cooked to perfection but lacked flavor but very salty. My husband ordered the Jerk pineapple bowl and the chicken taste spoiled like it was sitting out all day. We just paid for our food after we were able to get her attention after she avoided us for an hour. Our drinks were over priced and food was terrible and bartender was attentive and nice nasty. I won't be returning. We spent over 100.00 dollars for subpar service, terrible food, bad service, and woke up with bad tummy aches. We went to a birthday celebration here on a Monday evening. Being that it wasn’t a weekend, there was no charge to reserve an area. The lounge has a very nice vibe. The outer perimeter of the lounge has separated booth areas which could be roped off like a VIP area. We were offered 2 adjacent booths for our party of 15. Our server Me-Me is the bomb! Drinks were on point! The food was very good! We all had different items. Everything was served hot and timely. The Lamb chops were outstanding. I had jerk chicken spring rolls, wings & calamari. I thoroughly enjoyed my food. The burgers were said to be good by those who ordered them. I tasted the Rasta Pasta & the pineapple jerk chicken (chefs kiss)! The calamari were bite sized and (personally) I prefer them that way. They were flavorful and cooked well. So no complaints there! We were expecting a live DJ as we were told he starts at 8pm, but he didn’t show up. However, the music played was lit and we all danced and had a great time! The highlight of the night was the owner who came over and expressed his appreciation for choosing Swiggz for our gathering. He also brought over tequila shots for everyone in our party and had a toast with us. I would definitely recommend Swiggz. Parking is plentiful. I honestly can’t say enough.
