We decided to give it a shot since our go to Mexican joint has been shut down. Food was mediocre, nothing about it stood out as anything special but the spinach dip was above average, atmosphere was laid back with nice art and decor all over walls and seating arrangements, service was ok at first but waiter did not check on the table nor communicate about the 2nd appetizer dish we ordered, without being asked, which seemed to take a long time time to be cooked. Never came back to check on us after we had appetizers. He seemed to be taking care of most of the dining room, walk in to-go orders, and actually making drinks at the bar. And when we were ready to leave took a considerable amount of time to get the check. Asked another waiter (who seemed to be taking care of only 3 tables with some extra time on his hands) to tell our server we needed the check and it still took him at least maybe 15 minutes to get to the table with it. Unacceptable to have to wait that long like we were forgotten about. It was nearing the end of lunchtime so they probably had cut most waiters from the floor but should still have enough to handle the needs of all guests with a better sense of urgency. The food isn't nearly good enough to justify the slack in server attentiveness. Overall a disappointment of a Mexican restaurant. Will never return to this isolated random...
Read moreI’ve been frequenting this business for about two years and the food and drinks are awesome! However, I could not allow this repeated incident to pass this time...beware if the server Bart, he can be abrasive and argumentative. Each time I visit this establishment I order the same drink, Peach Margarita nothing on the rim. On this occasion my sister and I were seated at the bar and she ordered a regular margarita with a salted glass I asked for the same SIZE peach margarita but before I could finish saying nothing on the rim Bart salted the rim. I told him that I didn’t want anything on my rim he began to argue with me about what I said and so forth. His response should have been ok, or he should have kept his mouth shut and made the drink. This is not the first time this senario has played out with not just me, but other customers as well. I ended up paying for my sisters drink and I told him I’m not paying for the drink because I’m not going to argue with you and pay you too. He continued to talk about what I said and I replied I don’t want the drink. Before we left, he was still talking about the incident with other customers who told him he should have just let it go. This behavior is unprofessional and disrespectful. I will not be frequenting this business...
Read moreUpdated review. This restaurant has descended into the pits of hell this past weekend. There are absolutely no vegan options available, the booths were ripped and torn until you could see the stuffing underneath, the menus are old, molded and ripped along the spiral binding and a waiter harassed the rest of my party by attempting to detained them because he felt like they did not leave him a substantial tip. Huh, the waiter hid from us most of out visit, never brought out water for the table and when faced with someone being confused about the dish categorization listed under the nacho selection of the menu. He choose to try and humiliate her by bringing back the menu and pointing and going over her order several times not trying to correct the order trying to reprimand her. The manager of the restaurant at that time corrected the dish the best he could and his efforts are appreciated but his staff's soft people skills need an mandatory overhaul. Because how do you threaten your customers by saying I'll remember your face. Remember their face for what exactly? Because he obviously didn't remember their faces when it was time to bring water out to the table. If I could give zero stars I would, don't waste your time here go to Chipotle or Moe's on Mt.Zion...
