I unfortunately just had the worst experience here. First off, I order my food at 8:50pm. At 9:50 I went to the door to inquire about my order... Ms Nina (I believe that’s her name) looked at the ticket and walked away. 20 minutes later (now 1hr 20min from when I first ordered), still no food nor any communication from the staff as to what could have possibly gone wrong.
The worst of it is that we, your customers, were standing outside in the pouring rain to purchase food. No other business around this location make their paying customer stand outside in the rain. If this is in fact a play to protect us and you from covid19... I would suggest you do a few things... 1) Ms Nina and all employees need to come to the door actually wearing a mask, 2) outside need to display social distancing lines to protect consumers from infecting other consumers. 3) The door runner (Ms Nina) need to change her gloves between customers. She spend quite the time touching the door, exchanging receipts and such between customers. Additionally she spend time looking in customers bags, even after having direct contract with other customers. Unacceptable!
The entire experience was nothing short of a nightmare. Ordered at 8:50pm... left at 10:10pm after finally receiving a refund. Y’all (customers) can put up with this reckless animalistic stuff... IM...
Read moreReview update: Went Friday night & deducted a star. The service was worse than when I went on Wednesday. I tried the wings & corn nuggets. Wings were average & corn nuggets were average as well. I also tried the lemonade, bcuz I read rave reviews about it. While it was good I didn't want one with the large, germy, space-eating lemon in it. I asked the young lady if they could make one without the lemon in it & she said no, they're premade. Ummmm, they make them in-house so just make one without the lemon. I was repeatedly told no. If I return, I won't waste $3 on another lemonade at JJ's. I'll just go to Chick-fil-A & get one. 4.5 stars! I went for the first time Wednesday night & I will definitely go back! Service & food were great! I ordered the 2 whole catfish dinner, with fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw was the size of a condiment container, not enough, hence the .5 star deduction. The slaw is good, just tiny. They should offer a larger size for no charge. The catfish was cooked to perfection, just as I ordered. The fries were good. Read moreOn Saturday, June 14th, at 10:00 pm, I made a call to place an order for chicken gizzards. I was very clear about how I wanted them cooked, specifically requesting that they be cooked soft. I repeated this request four times and also shared details about my past experiences with them.
When my son brought the order home, I was disappointed to find that the gizzards were hard, crunchy, dry, and difficult to chew without causing discomfort to my gums. I called back to report the issue at 10:56 pm, and they offered to replace them. However, I told the representative that I will not be back tonight at 11:05pm to return do to the heavy rain and my son stop on his way home from work. He suggested bringing them back tomorrow for a replacement.
