When I tell you this is the absolutely the best, authentic, Mexican food closest to San Diego 👌🏽😋! My husband is from San Diego. He introduced me to rolled tacos when I first visited SoCal. I have been in ❤️ every since! I have worked in Stockton in the past years. I hate that I didn't know about this place before. I tried Albertos by St. Mary's Highschool. It was okay. We tried this establishment once. But, the second time, this location hit a home run! It's clean, and friendly service. You can smell Fabulosa in the air. I love that there are women and men working there. Additionally, I am a advocate for cleanliness and condiments being kept from cross contamination. Their's are prepackaged, to go and kept in fridge. The 🥕 and jalapeños are perfect 👌🏽. The little red sauce is 😋, not hot and pairs perfect mixed with the Pico de Gallo. The guacamole is smooth and just the right consistency. We get the regular beef 🌮 fried to a crunch. I can't say enough about the ladies and the male cooks ability to please their customers! My husband and I have been 3 times this week. Go get you some! Tell them exactly what you want. They don't dissapoint!...
Read moreWe came here because we were just passing through town and it was one of the only places we could find that was open late . The food here was pretty good. I did ask for melted cheese on my nachos, and the girl behind the counter said no, without any kind of explanation. I ordered them anyways and they were good. The rolled tacos were fine as well, next time, I would try beef rather than chicken. They were very generous with the sour cream and sauce that came on the side was nice and not overly spiced. This is a very small restaurant, and there were about eight or nine employees behind the counter. I’m pretty sure they were all cleaning because this place was spotless. And by spotless, I mean, there was zero dust in the windowsills, on the floors or anywhere else. The bathroom is outside and it was the cleanest bathroom I have ever seen at a restaurant. I would...
Read moreHonestly, this place has gone down hill. I am pregnant and severely allergic to guacamole, and my husband drove across town to get us burritos for dinner. He specifically asked them for a plain burrito like he always does with no pico and no guacamole. So what do they do?? They lather BOTH burritos in guacamole. I took a nice big bite of my burrito and got a mouthful of guacamole. So now, I'm freaking out worried it will have an effect on my baby and my mouth and lips are on fire. I called them to warn them to be careful and they didn't care in the least that there inability follow simple instructions led to a pregnant woman having a bad allergic reaction. They told me to call in the morning to speak to their manager if I was so upset about it. Better hope this doesn't affect my baby or I'm suing! Maybe a lawsuit will catch their bored...
