Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Stockton

Parking lot is a mess -- just way too small and cramped. I recommend parking outside their lot.

Signage and a better line system is needed. There is no "order here" sign and the line to order snakes through the dining area despite there being a wall to line up against.

Food was good and portions were mostly adequate (protein and guac were about 90% of a full serving -- a call for celebration around here)

Inside was clean and the staff I interacted with were all friendly.

On a side note, let the employees skip the line to order their food for lunch. As a customer, watching an employee waste their break time in line pisses me off, especially when there is a 2nd area in the back for to-go orders to be made outside of customers view. Who would be offended at the perk of skipping the line as an employee anyway? Plus, it's only the employees taking their breaks during rush hour who are negatively affected by...

Sad to give a low rating for Chipotle, as I've never really seen issues prior to 2024. Maybe a California thing .. ?? I walked in about 20 minutes before noon, and observed a decent size line of customers (typically moves fast). Not today. There was one person running the counter for about 5 minutes while others looked kinda lost. The food counter was a mess, but with only one worker, I see why. Tables were messy. Out of brown rice, low on white rice and most of the food trays were either low or had other foods mixed from dropping in (observed this with all 5 customers ahead of me). You’re better off driving to Pacific. Every piece of meat was nearly fat. Not sure if they’re just struggling to make profit because it’s new. But this is the 2nd time. Last time my sons kids meal was full of fat.Per manager Jose they don’t control what cuts of meat they receive nor cut the fat out of meat & asada meat has high cuts of fat.
