Midnight at Burnie's Drive-Up — Restaurant in Stockton

Stay away from this place at all costs. Just went to this restaurant and our first impression when walking in is a last minute put together dinner type atmosphere. When you first walk in you can see the back room and dishes and pans stacked up. The counters and front desk looks old and full of stickers. The whole vibe feels bad. The windows in this restaurant were all smeared up with fingerprints and the tables are dirty. When I sat down I had to get napkins and water to clean my table. When receiving my Double Bacon Burger I looked closely and the bread was old and falling apart. Who wants to bite into a burger and the bread crumble apart exposing the meat and the toppings falling everywhere. The size portions are also very small and definitely do not constitute the price of $15.00 for a Double Burger. The bacon also was not cooked properly along with the meat being overcooked. Despite this I told myself I would continue and try the meat. Well after waking up today I woke up to an upset stomach and nausea. I fast for 24 hours in between each meal and have been on this OMAD style diet for 3 years so it wasn't what I ate the previous day. This place definitely needs to be cleaned up and look presentable to people when they walk in. The staff that works here are also unfriendly and seem to always be in the back. When you ask a question it feels like you are bothering them. When I walked in, there was nobody at the register to take orders. I felt like she was in the back helping make the food. Overall a very bad experience and definitely will not be coming back to this place. I definitely will be reporting this place to the health department and let others know my experience here. Haven't been here in awhile. A couple of visits in the past the meat was too salty for my preference. Last night the milkshakes were delicious but for my preference mine could have been sweeter where as my wife's animal cookies was so sweet it tasted and smelled like cotton candy. The fries were perfect, could taste the clean oil and fried perfectly. The sliders could've used more of their special sauce but we were thankful the meat was perfectly seasoned to our liking. And if you like oreos or fried fair treats get the deep fried oreos because they are better than any fried oreos I've had including the CA State Fair!!! They come with a side scoop of ice cream but they're perfect on their own so the ice cream was an extra treat. We'll be back for some Bernie fries, shakes and more sliders with extra sauce. I highly recommend the Bernie fries if you're a fan of loaded meat and toppings fries. Well I seen this place on Instagram and decided to try it my first time here and get terrible customer service from this big guy in the pic. He had no life in him, unenthusiastic I showed up around 7:15pm they open at 6 he couldn't have been tired from a long busy day of working I told him it was my first time here and instead of welcoming me or recommending me anything or even telling me they had a secret menu to choose from when all they got is 3 burgers to choose from on the board he just stared at me stupidly and just waited for me to order something once I asked about some corn frys I saw on insta he said those cant be subbed out wit the combo cuz there in the "Special menu" that I wasent aware of I wasent able to switch them cuz I played already but he didnt offer anything to resolve this like upcharging me the difference which I would have been glad to pay he just had this blank stupid face... will see how the food turns out and I'll follow up on my review.
