Chef Bee is an absolute gem at Sakura Hibachi Restaurant & Catering!

From the moment Chef Bee steps behind the grill, you can feel the energy shift—he brings unmatched skill, charisma, and passion to every performance. Not only is the food phenomenal—perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection, and beautifully plated—but the experience he creates is unforgettable.

Chef Bee’s personality shines through in every interaction: he’s engaging, funny, and makes each guest feel like they’re part of the show. Whether he’s tossing shrimp with precision, lighting up the grill with flair, or cracking jokes that keep the whole table smiling, he has a way of turning dinner into an experience you’ll talk about long after you leave.

The flavors he delivers are just as memorable as the entertainment. Every bite of steak, scallops, shrimp, or fried rice tastes fresh, tender, and full of flavor. He clearly takes pride in his craft and cares about giving guests not just a meal, but a true hibachi experience.

If you’re looking for amazing food paired with top-tier hospitality and entertainment, Chef Bee is the reason to come to Sakura Hibachi. He’s hands down one of the best hibachi chefs...

If you're looking for great affordable food, this is a half measure. Japanese is hardly ever affordable, but two dinners and flavored soy beans 120.00. We ordered takeout so our experience was a bit marred when the person taking the order missed one order, so because I didn't pull everything out of the bag I had to return. I ended up forking over an extra 34 dollars or so for another entree. Not sure where the communication error began, but it is what it is.My daughter was offered a lemonade while we waited which never arrived. I am a professional eater (been doing it my whole life) so I don't mind shelling out a few extra dollars for great food and service. This fell short. I could have spent less money and had better service at Komachi or M sushi in Lodi. The time and effort to sort things out would have offset the travel time to get there. After all of this, One of my orders was wrong. I never ordered scallops and I do not eat well-done steak. 160.00 later with a tip for someone just to ring me up, I have buyers remorse. To be fair, the food was good but the experience left me with a...

It was an overall pleasant experience. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. Some awkward moments, initially, but I’m sure that’s due to being so new and the staff is still learning. The garlic edamame could be saltier, but that’s personal preference. We had the Ninja, steak and shrimp were cooked perfectly. The dipping sauces were brought to the table shortly after the entree, but long enough to try the food and felt like a little something was missing. But they were delicious and exactly what we were craving for the proteins. The garlic fried rice was flavorful and moist. My husband and I split our dish because we weren’t terribly hungry and it was enough for both of us. But I definitely think on a normal night that the portion would still be just right. I’m looking forward to trying other items on the menu and will be recommending my friends and neighbors to...

It was okay, 6/10. Husband and I was looking forward to try this place as we love Japanese cuisine. However, when we ordered the calamari (appetizer) it was so soooo oily that I couldn’t even figured out how to minimize the oil. I couldn’t, so I just stop eating it. Here comes the cook/ chef in-front of us. Okay, given the show it was cool to watch but we came here for the food. Fried rice was so salty and oily. Too much of soy, margarine/butter and oil together. I chose chicken teriyaki and shrimp but it’s the same… too salty and oily. I mean, it could pass the taste buds for some people (as I saw on the reviews) but not for us. Food was a bit pricey also, I would advise to use cash instead of card as they will charge your card for every dish in the menu. Other than that, staff was attentive, place was okay.

My wife and I came here for a date night and had an amazing time thanks to our hibachi chef. From the moment Bee started cooking, he had us laughing and engaged with his jokes and fun tricks. He went out of his way to make the night feel special, even shaping the rice into a heart for us (which my wife loved!). Not only was he entertaining, but the food was absolutely delicious & perfectly cooked fried rice, flavorful veggies, and tender meats. He even got me to catch a piece of broccoli in my mouth, which was a highlight of the evening! It’s rare to find someone who can combine great food with such a fun and personal experience. He truly made our night memorable, and we’ll definitely be coming back again. Thank you Bee!
