I'm pleasantly surprised how much I liked it here. The waylon burger, which was a waygu beef patty with cheddar cheese, bacon, fried onion, roasted jalapeños & bbq sauce was juicy and cooked perfectly. The fries were crispy and their beer selection was plentiful. What really hooked me was their service. Our server was so friendly and super patient with our group of 3. She let us try as many samples of beers as we wanted. Side note to Valley Brew: please print your beer selection on a menu, it is so hard to see what you have on the chalkboard that’s up on the wall. My sister’s bf had to take a picture of it for me so I can zoom in on it. Thanks!
I kind of want to see what this place is like on a busy night just to compare what our service would be like since we were the only group here for lunch this visit. I grew up in Stockton and this is probably my 2nd time coming here. I can’t even remember what the first time was like or how long ago it was. But after today, I’ll definitely try to come by more after having such a good...
Read moreValley Brew is a great place for dinner, drinks and entertainment. I can go hang out with buddies, or take my 5-year old and be equally as comfortable (depending on the time of day, of course).
Love the choice of beers and specialty drinks, and the menu is varied and very good! Garlic cheese fries as an appetizer are the best! Pizzas are very, very good, as are the sandwiches and the Ribeye steak dinner! They also have great Beer Dinners and Wine Dinners from time to time, and often have great entertainment in the showroom like "Take 5 Jazz at the Brew" (Brubeck Institute), Jeremy "Elvis" Pearce (Elvis Impersonator), and "50 SHADES OF FUNNY" (Comedy & Hypnosis Show), as well as other talent!
It's not only a great sports bar, it's a great all-around family restaurant. I'll...
Read moreMe and my wife stopped in for a snack after visiting the camera shop across the street. We had the large order of Deep fried mushrooms with the stout ranch dip. The missus had a root beer and I had a couple of IPA. The server was very friendly and very helpful, and the mushrooms were excellent. Why only 4 stars? This is because they no longer brew their own beer. I was looking forward to a pint of Black Cat stout or apricot lager. (or both) I was informed that Valley Brew no longer had a brew master. This really is too bad cuz I considered the home brew to be as good as the old Willits brewery in Sonoma or the Rubicon in Sac Town. Of course, it's been 10 years since I've been a patron. That aside, don't hesitate to have a snack or a meal there. It's...
