Back Bay Seafood — Restaurant in Stone Harbor

The crab cakes at Back Bay are among the best I have had, but their customer service is truly terrible. Twice in 3 days we called ahead and asked about their hours and twice they changed their closing time from earlier in the day. Earlier today, my husband called to confirm that they are open at 9. When we called to order food at 7:20 for an 8:15 pick up time we were told that they were closing an hour early for no good reason. This happened to us twice in 3 days. Not to mention the fact that we have gone there in the past to find that they are closed early or they just decided not to open for the weekend, etc. I am not sure if I will go back after these...

We ordered from Back Bay our last night in Stone Harbor and regretted we had not done so sooner! Delicious crab cakes! I would have to say they were the best I have ever had and one of the best meals we had on the shore this year. We will definitely be back next year at least several times. As another reviewer said Back Bay is perfect for a lazy night in the rental.

Staying at a hotel for our Stone Harbor vacation, my husband and I have eaten out for every meal. We’ve had a lot of great food, but this was our favorite seafood so far. The crab cakes and fried shrimp were seafood at its finest. The french fries weren’t just a filler, they were cooked perfectly and we were given a very generous portion.
