Tried this place for the first time on Tuesday and ordered the steamed shrimp plate which came with hush puppies and one side and I got seasoned white rice. Also ordered a baked potato. My granddaughters loved the hush puppies and the shrimp and they ate some of the rice, the potato was for me which was good. Everything was seasoned well. The girls wanted more hush puppies after school Wednesday so again ordered the shrimp, but two orders of hush puppies, more rice and two orders of potatoes. also ordered two of the cheesecakes. I ordered a salmon plate on Uber eats on 9/23 and was thoroughly disappointed. The food was put into the box with no seasoning and then doused with seasoning afterwards. The bottom half of all the food in the box was completely bare while the top of all the food was COVERED in seasoning. It came quickly, sure, but that’s possibly because the salmon was undercooked. The bottom of the salmon was smothered in oil causing the whole fish to become soggy and inedible due to the texture. Ordered pickup off door dash and food was WONDERFUL. Portions were large, hot, & fresh (and was actually spicy just like how I asked). The shrimp could have been seasoned better but nothing a little old bay couldn’t fix. I ordered a #3 & #6 with potatoes and broccoli for my sides.
