Sunrise Kitchen — Restaurant in Stow

Well.. where do I start. When I started ordering my food on the phone the woman was very rude, but I push it off the side because she might be stressed out. Anyways, I told her many times I wanted three shrimp eggrolls (I had this convo on speaker phone so my coworkers know what was said). When I got a my orders, the driver was so nice! But when I open my order, I got everything BUT my shrimp eggrolls. They gave me shrimp EF young not eggrolls. So I called the woman about the mistake, telling her I would returned the young and want my shrimp egg rolls. SHE YELLED AT ME TELLING ME I WAS WRONG! I put my phone on speaker so everyone would hear her. I told her I would just want to exchange the young with the eggrollls but she kept yelling and wouldn't listen. So I told her I will just come down and returned the food and exchange it for my eggrolls. But when I came down, they told me to NOT TALK NOT TALK WE HEARD THIS BEFORE! I was like woah..? And they grabbed the food and looked at all the food. And I tried to tell them I just want an exchange, but they kept telling me not to talk. So, they gave me the money back. But I told them tell the driver to keep the tip. At least he gave me good...

Their food used to be pretty good, and it used to be my go-to place for great Chinese. I'm originally from NYC, with Chinatown and its influence on area restaurants, so my standards have been set on the high side. The wonton soup used to have a delicious, well seasoned filling and great broth. Now the broth tastes like a cheap vegetable substitute while the wontons themselves are filled with this overbearing mixture that almost makes me nauseous after just one. The fried rice is almost flavorless, and their noodles (i.e., lo mein) are overcooked, mushy, and is seasoned with flavors much similar to the wonton filling. Sunrise Kitchen went from one of the best in the area for miles around to becoming the worst that I know of in NE Ohio...and I've sampled many in the region looking for the flavors that I've been familiar with for a long time. Sunrise, if you're reading this, please return to your original recipes and practices. I'll guarantee your business will pick...

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I ordered online for delivery, and was quoted 40-60 minutes. After an hour and a half I tried calling several times, without an answer. I decided to drive there (even though I tipped someone to deliver it). When I arrived two small children were trying to help me, but I asked to speak with an adult. After explaining my situation the owner started telling me that their phones are dead, so they can't receive calls. When I asked him to call the delivery driver, he then used the "dead phone" to call. He told me that it had already been delivered ( I have a ring doorbell, so no it had not).... my food is cold, tastes disgusting, and I was given spring rolls instead of egg rolls. The owner yelled at me and told me it was not his problem that my order was late and that his phones were "dead". This was the first time I have ordered from here and I will NEVER order...
