T-BUBBLES (Stow) — Restaurant in Stow

As a self professed iced tea nut, this place is a welcome addition to the area. Moving from Cali less than a year ago, where I had several excellent regular boba spots, it's been hard to find a winner close to where I am in akron/fairlawn. This place is legit. Service was excellent. I tried the house black milk tea with pudding and strawberry fruit tea. Both 25-50% sweet since I don't like my boba drinks sickeningly sweet. They were perfectly lightly sweetened and had authentic tea flavors. This is going to be my regular spot...

Plain. Ordered taro bubble tea. No taro taste, simply sweet tea. Literally still see white powder floating around cause they couldnt care to throughly mix it before add ice. Extra fee charge if use credit card. More than 6 drinks = 15% extra charge (why? You making powder drink not fancy dishes. Took you less than a minute to make 2 drink. Isn't the point of doing business is to sell more anyway??). They already make mediocre drink and try to charge at every chance they...

I'm pretty sure they added a tip after I left. I keep a close eye on my credit card transactions, and it was pending for $6.13, but when the transaction posted through it was $7.05. I didn't tip on the transaction because I was just in and out and have never been there before. I know 92 cents ain't much - not enough for me to bother disputing the charge, but dishonesty like that raises questions about the whole business for me.
