Twisted Tomato Pizzeria — Restaurant in Stow

I am writing this review unfortunately after 2 straight issues. We have been ordering almost once a week. We love the pizza but we started having issues with online ordering. First, when we put in the delivery time the pizza is being delivered almost 15-20 minutes early! Irritating because i chose the time i did based on the time we would be home to receive the delivery. Second, both times we ordered there was quality issues with the pizza. One pizza had completely slid off the crust and wasn’t edible. And the next pizza had the wrong toppings. When i called to talk to the manager and i shared the issues she asked me if i just wanted a refund for the toppings or if i wanted a new pizza, i had to return the wrong pizza. The issue i have with that is why can’t you just send me another pizza asap, or credit me a pizza in the future. I think it’s poor service by telling me now i have to wait for the new pizza which will also be delivered at whatever time would work out based on deliveries you already have going out. So now i have to wait and change dinner time. Either way, poor customer service. I want my issues to be taken seriously and the fact that I’ve been inconvenienced 2 straight times it didn’t seem to bother the manager at all, and to me...

Ordered their speciality 'pesto pizza' online, at Stow outlet and requested an off menu, add-on, topping. The intention was to have a bite piping hot, on the spot! Located at the edge of Crossroads at Fish Creek Shopping Center, the place is takeout only. Dine-in if you count a small bench, like one pinched from bleachers. Instantly, the order defaulted to take out. It was amusing that the playful message, at entrance, did have a purpose. The door spring seems to have been installed the other way round, jack-in-a-box style. Well, banter aside, what's on the wall is on the box (pic). The pesto thing was a proposition of a pizza! This place needs to be explored more, oftener. The pizza was halfway down the deep-dish route. Loaded and sinful. Every ingredient came through - pesto, spinach, roasted garlic, Alfredo and cheeses. And, of course, the add-on topping! Turned out, it was too much for two to demolish in a single sitting - even after the body-mind bickering. The reheated stuff was as good. Purists should be prepared for a 'twist'. Their branding and logo says it...

I went here on the first day they opened in Stow. I wanted to try out a few things, so I ordered a small cheese pizza, some pasta, and some jo jos. The food was ready when I came to pick it up and it was so hot and fresh!

They have a sweet tomato sauce that’s really good. The pizza has a nice fluffy yet semi-thin crust and the ratio of cheese to sauce was great! The pasta was my favorite thing! I got cheese tortellini with the Rosa sauce—IT WAS SO GOOD! The amount of food I got was awesome! The pasta will last me 2-3 meals for sure. The jo Jo’s were piping hot and fluffy on the inside!

I will be a repeat customer especially because I work close to this location. I hope to get it for lunch some days or after work! Love to see more small business...
