It’s rare for me to rate so low. It’s be one star, but I recognize that they were very busy. The lost my pizza. We already had to wait forever and then they lost it. It was kind of funny, but not a great experience. And when we were going through the line, they were quite jarring in their communication. And they made us wait outside for a long time. Yeah, sure, Covid. But he came back out to tell us it was lost and came back out a second time to ask the size. When I asked him if they’d consider upgrading to a mod size from a mini given the circumstances his response was “probably not. I’m not sure.” He was probably some new kid, so it’s not his fault, but just in general I think the management would do well to emphasize some basic need for minimal customer service standards. I realize I seem like I am a part of the entitlement culture here, but check my profile. My only other low review was for a taxi cab company in South Dakota, and I almost exclusively leave 5 star reviews because I think it’s better to encourage good behavior than it is to chastise bad behavior. But every once in a while there is truly a bad experience, and this was it. I will come here again in the future and update the review if it’s better, but if this first experience was any indication, I would highly recommend steering clear. Try the new Pizzeria downtown called White Pie. It’s a much better experience and product all around. Edit: they didn’t upgrade the size, so they clearly don’t care about customer experience. I bumped it down...
Read moreThe restaurant is a knockoff of Blaze Pizza which didn't do well here in Colorado. Not sure why because Blaze is superior to mod. There were only three people working which made the line going in rather slow. Not as many toppings as there is at Blaze but unless you've been to Blaze, you wouldn't notice and it wouldn't be that big of a deal. The dough is pretty thin and when I asked them to top it with olive oil, he looked confused and kind of bothered.
The prices here are rather high with a fountain soda costing $3. I asked for a mixture of hot sauce and regular sauce and they made half the pizza hot and half the pizza mild. The mild tasted good and the hot was really hot. It would have been better had the tube been mixed like I asked but it did give me a chance to sample both. The vegetables and toppings seemed really fresh And I was pleased with the taste of the pizza as a whole, except of course the thin crust. Crust. They have options to order pizzas off the menu just in case you are wishy-washy with what you want to eat.
These options (eleven of them) are$ a good way to keep people moving. The price is for as many toppings as you want. All at the same price. I saw people loading up with toppings that I'm sure they have to eat their pizza with a fork and knife.
As for price, the menu is pretty limited. A small pizza which is good for one child is $10. Salad runs about the same. It's not on the top of my list for dining with the family. It's too expensive for that, but for an individual lunch? Works...
Read moreSo we were kind of let down with this experience. We are new to the area and just got done traveling for about 18 hours and thought some pizza would be a good way to wrap up the night. The employee on the phone was friendly and answered all of our questions however, we asked for a receipt as we are traveling. We need the receipts to get reimbursed through the military because we are using a travel card. The pizza arrived a little late but not a big deal as things happen. I.e. busy night, traffic ect. To our surprise there wasn't an option to leave gratuity while paying with a card and this wasn't something stated on the phone or in person. We would have handled it immediately had it been. Given the circumstance we assumed gratuity was added to the total price as some places do. We wouldn't be able to tell anyway as we later noticed the receipts we asked for didnt state the price of anything we payed for which make them useless to us in the long run. Not long after that my wife received a text message stating "you should really tip next time". We feel bad for the young man who didn't receive a tip (especially given the world today) but this just seemed unprofessional. We will stop by and make sure they receive a tip either way but this just wasn't the experience we expected and we were really let down due to the positive reviews. The pizza wasn't quite what we were expecting either. Just thought I would share...
