QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Stratmoor

To whom this may concern,

I am writing to inform you of the terrible customer service I had received at the Venetucci location on May 21, 2023. We have been coming to this location a few times a month for five years and NEVER been treated so poorly. I had asked the gentleman for a little extra rice while he was making my bowl since I was going to do less meat and less beans. He responded very hateful and said there was not much rice left even though there was people in line behind me. I decided ok that's. He went on to make the next burrito and I had asked for double meat. He was very hateful about it and put very little meat. I then asked the next lady if I could get a little more meat since it definitely didn't look like double meat. He proceeded to raise his voice and tell the lady she had to charge me triple. We always pay extra for we ask for! I told him I didn't appreciate his hateful responses and the way he was treating me. I was not asking for anything FREE we always PAY for extra. He said it's just portion control you should know since you guys come here all the time". I said, "yes we do come here a lot and have NEVER been treated this way!" His response was that "this is not the only qdobas in town so go somewhere else." I asked what his name was and his response was "Adrian and I am the assistant manager here so tell them that when you call too!" I am very upset with the treatment and attitude he had towards me. We come here very often and spend a lot of money too! This location is more convenient for us to go to however I don't even know if I will ever return! My young children were even shook up over the way he was acting! There were customers behind me as well. I really hope this is not how your company treats their paying customers. The beginning of my experience was pleasant with a greeting from two staff sitting in a booth with their phone watching the Simpsons and doing what appeared to be arts and crafts. When they began preparing my order I watched all of the expected cross contamination of ingredients while sloppily putting them in my burrito. One staff was either unable to hear me or lacked the understanding to my request of light ingredients on my food or when I asked for mild queso and chips giving me spicy queso instead. This was not too big of a deal as my burrito ripped in half after it was rolled causing the staff to have to dump the remainder into a new tortilla. Unfortunately for me this caused my burrito to be 1/3 ingredients 2/3 tortilla. I watched as she dumped it looking at the original tortilla before folding it and throwing it away. When this was discover I requested my food be remade. The staff who remade it did remark that there was still an excess of tortilla (to be expected) but I did have more than double the ingredients in my new burrito. Upon finishing my meal I entered the bathroom to find one toilet covered in feces and the other with a toilet seat that was clearly too small as you can see by the photo as well as not connected to anything. If the store was busy I could understand a messy bathroom or perhaps the numerous mess filled table tops or even the messy floor. But I was one of three customers during my time in the store. There was one working staff member and the other two would assist when someone came in. Other than that instance the two would sit at the table with their phones and apparent arts and crafts...

2:30 on a Monday afternoon, 5 guest in the building and 7 employees behind the counter grated one of them clearly prep guy. (Which I should also mention his shirt looked like it hadn’t been washed in a couple of days. Really that’s how clean out your uniforms are when you’re preparing our food?) Don’t even know where to begin. I’m a big fan of Qdoba and it’s very disappointing to find one by your house and it not be up to any qdoba standards. Walked in hoping to sit in and grab a bite before work but unfortunately every single table in the restaurant was dirty. You would think when there’s that many employees one of them could help clean of a table especially after mention we were wanting to eat there. Walking up to order no one was quick to say a word and once they did help you it was very clear they didn’t wanna be there, no personality, the food line was a mess. Everyone just standing around expect for the two employees that gave enough effort to put something together. What appeared to be the manger was just standing behind everyone walking back in forth, when she very well should of been helping her staff get ready for the dinner shift. Even concerned sitting out on the patio since no one cared to clean the dinning area but I quickly noticed the patio lights hanging on the ground with broken glass.
