George's Restaurant — Restaurant in Streator

Sometimes at George’s Restaurant I eat light and just order a slice of ham with some veggies on top. The ham always has a great flavor and the sautéed veggies add some good flavor. The biscuits and gravy are always tasty on Sunday’s, their tenderloins and cheeseburgers also hit the spot and you can’t beat the daily specials they have on the chalkboard. It’s cool the owner buys the Pantagraph every day so his customers can read it. My favorite spot to sit is on the old school stools at the countertop. Reminds me of old diners...
