If you're looking for a quick homemade sweet treat, this is the place! I've indulged in a few items that keeps bringing me back for more. I guess what I'm saying is that I'm direct depositing my paychecks here. The scones, multiple flavors, are on point. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and full of flavor! Each with a scrumptious quantity of fruit built in. They are good enough that I was to set up a poetry night and just talk about scones. The s'more cupcake was divine and it will get you in trouble with your trainer. But if you buy them one they will understand. I've also had the pineapple upside down cupcake. I was whisked away to tropical bliss strumming on my six string sitting on my front porch swing. It was the right amount of sweetness unlike your aunt Trudy at the family reunion who leaves lipstick all over your face and squeezes your cheeks. The cake itself was so soft I wanted to use it as a pillow after the flavor town coma I just endured. I haven't had much of the coffee except for a French vanilla iced latte. Which made for a nice pairing with my baked bounty. Satisfying! A peaceful place with wifi and good tunes in the background. It's now the best kept secret...

I enjoy experimenting in different cities their bakeries, restaurants, et cetera. It was a different type of atmosphere because the ladies were young and not very social. It would be nicer to have more comforting repoore with the people that work at that establishment to the public. Don't be afraid to strike up conversations with a new client. Makes one feel as though it was nice that I stopped. Their menu selection was OK I didn't see anything over the top. The establishment was clean, and I had the cheddar bagel which was OK. I will try again in the near future. I do frequent Streator quite often. There is room for improvement. Don't be afraid of us Senior citizens we enjoy...

Wow! This place is owned and operated by a 16-year-old! I’m floored and amazed by her ambition.

Our family made the trek from Ottawa to check out the bakery. I was super excited to get Intelligencia coffee as I have missed it from my Chicago days. Our four children each found a treat they enjoyed - two different cupcakes, a peanut butter cookie, and a unicorn shaped sugar cookie!
