Edit: If I could I'd give it 3.5 stars. Right in the middle overall. The food and atmosphere are average to pretty good, but customer service needs a huge overhaul. I would also suggest not coming to this establishment if you are looking for fast and accurate order fulfillment. Here are the positive: good coffee flavors and breakfast and lunch options, but ordering can be confusing. After tasting the lunch I can say their BLT salad was amazing. Great flavor and prepared well. While their turkey bacon cheddar panini's flavor was great in taste, the actual meat/cheese portion was on the skimpy side for the panini. Be aware if you don't like a lot of bread.
Negatives: the tomato bisque was a bit off. If halfway puree consistency tomato soup isn't your thing, stay away. Best way to described it was similar to the consistency of homemade gritty baby food that wasn't processed long enough. The extremely slow service, cost of food and drinks are astronomical for a small town coffee shop and orders aren't always correct. Baristas are to busy chatting with their friends that come through the line to pay attention to drink orders and actually making them to customers specifications. The barista even started on her friends drink (while she was chatting away) before mine. Nevermind the fact that they were crazy busy and she was going at a snails pace. I wish I could give more stars, but between having to pay over 3.00 for a single deviled egg and over 6.00 for a medium flavored latte, along with the slow and sometimes wrong service I can't in good conscious give a higher rating.
Edit: Shame on You More on Main. Not once did I mention the barista was rude, but again, slow and inaccurate. While some of your stuff is amazing, I just suggest to customers that if they don't want to play russian roulette with whether they will get correct, timely and good quality service/food/drinks, (especially for what you charge) to maybe consider not taking the chance. But hey, to each their own, right? You can say that there was no pleasing me by the barista , but is asking for my drink to be made in a timely manner and her not completely skipping over it because she was clearly to busy chatting with her friends and not paying attention to order flow really to much to ask? Dang, I guess customer service 101 must have changed and I apparently didn't get the memo. I'm sorry that even another barista coming to help was told to make yet another drink behind me (no shock the 2nd friend's drink) without her starting mine either and that I finally had to do ask if they remembered mine. I even apologized and explained to her that I was about to run late for an appointment, otherwise nothing would have been said as nothing has been ever said in the previously times the orders were slow or wrong. I guess I shouldn't have thought that getting something as simple as an Irish Breve, which last I recall yours included both Irish creme and almond syrup and yet the almond syrup was completely missing, (I could only imagine why) wouldn't take over 15 minutes. Lesson learned. If a simple request that your barista actually pays attention to her surroundings and job function means "nothing you could have done would have resulted in me being happy" then so be it. I understand this is a small town and all that comes with it. You are lucky to not have much competition (because that's all people know) along with everyone knowing everyone, but still, try to be a little more professional; whether you are the owner or staff. I don't think it is so much to ask that you can be as friendly and chatty as you want, but not at the cost of being efficient for ALL your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDefinitely disappointed as I was expecting a lot better from all of these reviews. Edit: āMisinformation and misleadingā? Definitely not as I came in after you didnāt rehire me, because I wanted to still support your business and I hadnāt tried anything before, but I wasnāt a fan of your Blue Razz drink, your bagels are mediocre at best, your ham, egg, and cheese panini was nothing special, and your prices are extremely high for mediocre food. Also, the service wasnāt that great. I find it extremely hilarious that you as a business owner is being extremely unprofessional but Iām not surprised since Iāve heard other people have had this experience. And donāt worry, Im glad I wasnāt rehired as my experience working there(yes half a day like you so kindly used against me even after I explained what happened) as there are much better places for anyone to work, especially with more understanding bosses...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came to this restaurant sometime last week on I believe Thursday morning and ordered a breakfast burrito. When I eventually got it the burrito was cold and the worker was extremely rude to me and had a attitude about everything. This younger girl with curly brown hair was the person who served my food and she was extremely unprofessional when I got it. When I got out to my car I took my burrito out of the bag and it was cold. I don't know how long it had been sitting out or what but when I bit into it I could tell it wasn't fresh because the tortilla was way too hard. I've gotten food from here before without any issues and the burrito is usually really good, fresh, and hot. Extremely disappointed with this interaction and will not be...
