Did not care for coleslaw. Tenderloin was okay but too large for the bun it was presented on. Did not care for being charged for onion and tomatoes on my sandwich after not being made aware of extra charge by my server and no mention of this on the menus. Paid about $12 for tenderloin, fries and coleslaw. Did not expect extra charge for onion and tomato. Owner took issue with a former customer that posted they thought restaurant was not clean. Owner said place was spotless. That is untrue. The ceiling vent in the dining room was coated with a coat of filth that had obviously been there for some time. Quite possibly never cleaned since they opened. If they are that careless about keeping the public dining room clean what do they do about areas that food is stored in or prepared in? Places not seen by customers. My opinion is this place does not meet my minimum requirements for a commercial...

This 318 reminds me of a restaurant in downtown Chicago that has big windows so you can see the whole road and sidewalk out front. Window seating is very underrated. They take great advantage of that. Sometimes I’ll go in and order a carry out, just chill and drink a soda and watch the cars go by on Main Street til my food’s ready. Cool little place and they’re always friendly in there. Try the grilled cheese cheeseburger. Damn good. It literally melts in your mouth. Their desserts they make are custom and tasty. Amazing food and attentive wait staff. The 318 was a destination spot for us and we will be back for the fried pickles, corn nuggets, mushrooms as appetizers again. My spicy burger was just as described and not so overwhelming with heat that the burger flavor couldn’t hide the amazing taste and combined with great fries. The waffles were to die for even as leftovers with bits of goodness in just the small bite I was allowed by my wife.
