I want to take my sister somewhere for her birthday and wanted to try someplace new. I passed by this place many times is as I used to work in the area. I always wondered what it was like I read the reviews so thought I'd give it a try. I love little hidden gems and small establishment sometimes you get the best food and service there. We were not disappointed. Will was our server very knowledgeable and very attentive. Thank you will for your service and answering Our Endless questions. First they brought chips and salsa to the table. The salsa was fresh and out of this world and the chips had some salt on them which I love, most places the chips are bland. For an appetizer we ordered the conch, lightly fried. I love conch and a lot of restaurants up here don't have it if she have to go down to South Florida for it, where I used to live. It was sheer perfection! I wish I took a picture before , but we were hungry and it was so delicious there was not a crumb left. My sister ordered the Snapper special and I had half pound of scallop dinner, grilled. Both were delicious. I'm not a fan of grits but my sister had the grits with cheese, she loved them and I tried them and they were actually really good. The garlic mashed potatoes were delicious. My sister side dish of the zucchini was really good. I have a side of the cole slaw also with my meal. I'm pretty picky, it was all ok, but not a big hit with me. I highly recommend checking this place out. We eventually will return and we are going to have the fried conch again! It's our new...

I wish I could give them 10 stars. Really. We came in on a Saturday evening. The facility is very small, but we were seated immediately. Very chill and friendly vibe. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable. I ordered the pistachio crusted mahi entree with the mashed potatoes and veggies. It was delicious. We got the boom boom shrimp as an appetizer, and they were perfectly done. My husband ordered the fried grouper with the grits and coconut rice. I tried it and liked it a lot. He said it was the best fried grouper he has ever had. We also tried the seafood bisque soup and both loved it (he never likes soups). We ended with a keylime pie. Again; both loved it. Not only was the food delicious and well-prepared, but the staff were all lovely. Our waiter was great. The waitress that was there was also super sweet and helpful. You can see the kitchen staff the entire time, and can just tell they’re all a great team. Thanks for a good experience in Stuart. We hated the few “more popular tourist”...

Popped in as we were out on a shopping trip an hour from home. We were given a few names to check out and I’m glad we decided on King Neptune. It’s a small Florida beachy seafood joint and very intimate with only a small number of tables. Despite this, our wait was only 10 minutes on a Saturday evening. The staff were very friendly and made good recommendations. The one bad thing about fresh local seafood is that they often sell out of a few items and usually the ones you want! That said, our waitress gave great alternatives and we really enjoyed all of the food. The seafood bisque was fabulous and packed with lots of shrimp and lobster with a lovely base and not artificially thickened. We also tried the coconut shrimp and conch fritters. Entrees were fried grouper and pistachio mahi. All freshly cooked and very tasty. We spent $100 with tip including alcohol which isn’t cheap but about right nowadays. Very highly recommend and...

March 21st Thursday 2019 visited this seafood restaurant with a good friend for the first time and was quite impressed in the QUALITY and VARIETY of food presented . the DINING ROOM is QUAINT and seats around 35 people or so I'm thinking that the restaurant does a ROBUST TAKE OUT BUSINESS . King Neptune is located in Port Salerno At the intersection of Salerno Road and Dixie Highway going north which is in the city of Stuart and known as a fishing capital . We were sitting at the FRONT COUNTER where you could watch the kitchen and there was a MAN AND WOMAN CHEF cooking for the packed DINING ROOM , THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING , and a woman came up next to me and ordered a beautiful GIFT CARD as a present for a loved one . IF you are a FISH LOVER you can CATCH A GREAT DINNER with FUN on the side at the KING NEPTUNE restaurant . BON APPETIT . RICH SAINT ROMAIN 🙏 😷 🐟🐠🐡🦈🐙🦀🦐🐌🦑🦐🐙🦈🐡🐠🐟 😷 🙏

The chef was out so half the menu was unavailable. The seafood soup was full of seafood and very good. I didn't taste the conch but heard it was good. The grouper only served fried was essentially nuggets which it didn't say on menu. It was excellent. The shoestring fries were what they were they slaw was ok. The Mahi was very thin and cooked a minute took long a little dry. We ordered the puppies after our mains when they came and I reminded our sever who was super busy. It's a small local place. She said they were working on them. I said we were good since we were done and she apologized. As we were paying the bill, she brought us the puppies to go on the house for the confusion. They were excellent. Iook forward to going back and trying the rest of the menu. Again with a full house and people waiting, our server whose name i forgot did a very good job and taking care of us

The first time I tried this place was 10 YEARS AGO! I will never forget the grouper ruben. I thought about it many times over the years and I'll admit I have cyber-stalked this restaurant a few times since my initial visit. As luck would have it...I would be on the turnpike when I saw a sign for Stuart and my mouth began to water. Hello sandwich! Did you miss me? This place hasn't changed at all and that's a good thing. My family arrived shortly after they opened on a Tuesday and there was still a slight wait. This place is the size of your living room so don't be in a hurry. Just enjoy the ambiance and fresh seafood. I came for the grouper ruben but tried a little bit of everything. Loved the fish tacos, loved the buffalo shrimp, kicked myself for not trying the lobster rolls and the soup. Overall, my wife and I enjoyed the food and service. Thanks again for a great, new memory.
