Tausha's is a local favorite Salerno seafood spot! If you know your FRESH seafood, this place is for you. Much of the fish and shellfish is local, but all of it is the best you can buy. Hungry you say? Well you aren't walking out of here hungry! The very friendly servers will bring you the tastiest plates from the fish cooking magician in the kitchen. The lunch and dinner are superb! From the shrimp dinner to the whitest flakiest perch, you can't go wrong. Not to mention the Lobster Bisque and fish dip. Need some gourmet wine for your clam bake at home? They have that too! A one stop shop for a world of seafood deliciousness!

Absolutely a great place to dine! It was recommended to me as as a good place for fish and they an interest type of business (restaurant). You can eat in or you can take out fresh raw Seafood! Great appetizers, small, medium and large portions available for your taste. They also have a good variety of wines available to combine with your meals or simply take home with you. Customer service is as good as your your taste satisfaction. Not fancy place, but they certainly know how to serve and even create a vibrant atmosphere while you visit this gem! Come and enjoy it, too!

Great fish that’s flaky, soft and FRESH. Hubby and I wanted to start buying fish from local markets and Tausha’s was a recommended to us. Now I know why! They serve a variety fresh fish not frozen in ice coolers making it easily accessible to pick your liking. While you’re looking for fish you can order lunch or dinner at the restaurant. I ordered the shrimp dinner which was perfectly cooked and lightly battered. The cocktail sauce was the best I’ve ever tasted. My meal came with French fries, hush puppies and coleslaw. Perfection is all I can say. Thank you 😊

Enjoyed visiting with Tessa and meeting Tausha (a unique spelling for "TA-sha", the "u" is silent). Ordered a take-out appetizer, mahi-mahi. I will be returning for this one again. The tartar sauce was the way I like it not too sweet or bitter, savory without overpowering the flavor of the fish or breading. The breading was surprising. Thin, mild, savory and loose. You could easily peel the breading off if you wanted less. The fish was tasty, flaky, and was the best version of fried I could ask for... no oily grease flavor....absolutely extatic with this dish. Tessa offered a second dipping sauce, remoulade, not a sauce I had tried on fish before. It was tasty, I'm a tartar sauce girl.

The fish market area changes daily according to what the fresh catches are that day. The cuts are bagged, kept on ice in coolers you can explore and choose the filet which fits your needs. Shrimp oysters and other fresh seafood is available. Again, multiple visits will be nessasary to explore such a diverse selection.

Then there is the wine gallery... Tessa is great fun to discuss the attributes of the hand selected array of hues and aromas.

In all a great place to make a good day, amazing!

If you order take-out Sandsprit Park, just down the road, is a lovely view to pair with a...

We went there to procure sushi grade tuna and salmon for our ā€œsushi nightā€. It was top grade and delicious! We also bought a couple of packages of calamari (squid) which were frozen. I planned on making stuffed calamari. Unfortunately they didn’t tell me that the calamari was already cut into 3/4ā€ wide rings. I didn’t realize it until I defrosted them. Very disappointed. I’m not sure if they carry the uncut ones but it would have been nice to know before. So I’m going to ā€œPlan Bā€ and making a stir fry with the calamari. I’m sure it will be tasty. šŸ’„UPDATEšŸ’„ I made an Asian dish with the calamari. I marinated the calamari in almond milk for a few hours. Then I stir fried onions, garlic and bok choy and added the calamari along with sesame oil and Tamari, then a bit of sriracha for heat. The calamari was tender and it...

Definitely a local hit! They're a little expensive, but the quality is good. My only complaint is that they definitely battered and fried their fish with the shrimp, which is definitely a concern given that some people (like me) have shellfish allergies. They have an open kitchen so if you have a shrimp allergy, maybe avoid anything fried. Luckily, my allergy isn't severe and I can manage, I just lose my voice and get a little weasy for an hour or so. Their food is good, their market seafood is high quality. The restaurant was busy, which they may always be. The other night I brought home some scallops and made pasta with a white wine garlic and parmesan sauce. The scallops were good, but man are they hard to gauge...
