So creepy that you watch security footage of people after they leave a bad review and use it as "proof" that people ate the food. No one finished any of their food prior to the condecending interaction, we all were already very put off by the food. The French toast was burnt, the pancakes were over done, the crossant sandwich fell into peices, the gravy for the biscuits was the worst I have ever had and my biscuit wasn't even warmed up and was definitely stale or over baked. But I would never have put a bad review just for bad food I just didn't plan on returning. My daughters spinach wrap was delicious it was the only thing edible that I tried. Also I wasn't aware that my elderly cancer ridden mother who can't even walk unassisted baked me a cake to surprise me to eat LATER in the day it wasn't even on our table or near any of us. We were about to leave we clearly weren't eating it. It was 9:30 in the morning and it was sitting with the other presents my mother had brought me. The owner waited until we were about to leave to say something about it like she just couldn't allow us to leave without being rude. I didn't even know you guys made cakes and no one knew my mother would bring one. We never even took the lid off. And as we were about to leave that's when we were told how rude it was to bring in a cake. 🤣 So yes after that interaction I said nope we're leaving I imagine that's why our table was left a mess because we left abruptly. Also we didn't realize we were supposed to bus...

Thank you for your response, however, your security camera check is not what you claim. I disassembled my sandwich, tried to eat half the bread and ended up only eating the bologna because the bread just kept crumbling everywhere and I ate my kids chips. The person across from me ended up eating less than 1/4 of her sandwich and ate the soup instead. As a matter of fact, the only person in our party to eat their entire sandwich was a growing teenage boy that literally will eat anything you sit in front of him. We did not purchase the pastries because the samples that were out were tried by the kids and both gave thumbs down. The rest in the case did not look fresh either. Could I have went and complained to the completely uninterested employee? Sure. I’m pretty sure that is what reviews are for since as you said, you make the bread in house, so if it was stale, how was that to be fixed? Either way, you should have just taken it as constructive criticism to get better, not get combative. Wishing you all the best.
Went for lunch. We were so excited for this place! The multi grain spread was so stale it crumbled when I tried to pick it up. The other sandwiches that everyone else ordered was 90% bread. It was sliced so thick that they had to destruct the sandwich to eat it. The pastry’s were old as well. Such a bummer for a unique place...

It’s a unique place. It has seating that resembles a standard restaurant but the order is made and picked up at the counter. Coffee and condiments are self serve.
My wife had the French toast. It was good French toast.
All of the dishes have names of people which is a cute touch; but it also means you have to read the description of each item to know what’s available. It seems fine for a restaurant where you sit and read the menu while waiting for a server, perhaps a bit more questionable for someplace where you order at the counter.
Ultimately, the food and casual atmosphere make the trip well worth giving it a try.
The coffee was good.
The restaurant was nicely decorated with a rustic feel.
Bathrooms were clean.
You can park behind the restaurant and walk in...
