PROS: 1. Sandwiches have ample servings of meat. 2. Jimmy Johns offers gluten-free lettuce wraps on all their sub combos. 3. The website allows a lot of customization on sandwiches like increasing, decreasing, or eliminating most condiments; adding additional proteins or toppings, etc. CONS: POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE: I placed an online order and arrived at the shop 20 minutes after placing my order. When I arrived, I was told “There is going to be a delay. We ran out of bread.” There were no other customers at the store when I arrived and no others came while I was waiting, so it was not like they were doing a bustling Friday night business that depleted their bread supply. Five minutes later, I saw an employee carrying a tray of bread loaves across the store. That tells me that they must have had NO bread in stock until I placed my order. While I was waiting, I asked an employee if they would give me a free pickle for having to wait so long for my order. (At this point, it had been over half an hour since I placed my order.) Her reply, “No, we can’t do that.” It was another ten minutes before I received my sandwiches, adding up to a 45-50 minute delay. All it would have taken to appease me was a dill pickle or two. Way to go, management! // (Update) – I received an apology and a $10 gift card from J-J’s Corporate and a voice mail from the store manager after posting the review above. Nice. I placed a few more orders since then but I am done with them after today. I placed an online order to pick up at the drive thru. I clicked on the “Track Your Order” link in the confirmatory email. After 40 minutes, the status had not updated, showing only that the order was "received." I drove to the store, arriving about 45 minutes after I placed the order. The drive thru was moving very slowly. When I finally got to the order window, there was nothing but silence from the speaker. I went inside. There was one customer ahead of me and two employees working. Two other employees eventually came into the food prep are over the next 10 minutes.) It took the staff about five minutes to take the order ahead of mine. It was another five minutes before I was served. My order was sitting on the counter, waiting to be bagged. I ordered a couple of their "Unwich" lettuce wraps. They were impossible to eat as served and could not be called a "wrap" at all. These were open-faced sandwiches served on a bed of lettuce. (This was also a problem on a previous Unwich order, but I figured that was an outlier since the first time I bought an Unwich, there was sufficient lettuce to completely wrap the meat. Now, it is clear that they are skimping on the lettuce here.) I'll give them credit in that their sandwiches are tasty but the overall customer service at this location is poor. They should be prohibited from using the Jimmy John's "Freaky Fast" slogan because they are anything but! With so many other competitors in the sandwich and wrap business within three minutes (Zero's, Jersey Mikes, Firehouse, Subway, Tropical Smoothie, and two pizzerias that serve subs) I will take my...
Read moreWe decided to stop for a quick drive thru lunch, and it was anything but quick. We awkwardly sat at the drive-thru, waiting over 10 minutes as cars started to pile up behind us. We had only ordered 2 sandwiches (ham and cheese, and an Italian) there was only one customer inside.
How do I know that?? Because the gentleman at the window finally tossed a sandwich in our bag and said, "Have a good day." As I pulled away, the bag felt extremely light, looked, and one sandwich. I had to park and go back into the store. The Italian had never been made. At first, he stated I only ordered the #1.
As I'm standing there waiting for the sandwich and observing the workers, I notice the lettuce and its absolute shade of brown being piled onto sandwiches. If I'm at home , may push my lettuce an extra day. If I'm paying $21 for 2 sandwiches, I expect fresh. The slogan is "gourmet sandwiches." Not here's our leftover lettuce from 2 days ago. Highly disappointed at both quality and...
Read moreSadly this is the worst jimmy John's I've visited, but the only one nearby to my work and home. Out of around 9 visits I've made, they've gotten my order wrong 7 times.
The order? Literally just a ham and cheese sandwich. Truthfully I don't know how you can consistently mess that up. What's even crazier is that they gave me a lettuce wrap unwich the first time, I returned it, and they still messed up a 2 ingredient sandwich the second time.
EDIT: I'm not interested in following your link and taking more time out of my day to fill out your forms for free. Your company charges handsomely for food and the bare minimum you could be doing is filling orders correctly. I will not contribute more uncompensated time to you after paying 10 bucks for a sandwich just because you fail at performing your job as an owner. You could start with getting a competent staff, and then proceed to make amends for people's time, money, and lunchbreaks you're...
