Wendy's — Restaurant in Sugar Land

Ordered food for a large group and was let down by the experience at this Wendy’s location. I’ve always enjoyed Wendy’s, but this time was different, and not in a good way.

I spent a lot of money here (almost $100) because I was ordering for my family, but the quality just didn’t match the price. By the time I got home l, which is only about 5 minutes away l, everything was already cold. The fries were stale and soggy, and one of the burgers (a spicy chicken sandwich) was completely dry and made hours earlier. Even worse, none of the burgers were labeled, so we couldn’t tell which one was which l, especially frustrating when ordering for a group with specific preferences.

We decided to go back to get the stale items replaced. While the staff did remake the food, the customer service was disappointing. The manager and team didn’t offer any kind of apology or courtesy. They simply took the bag and remade the items, no questions asked, which sounds good in theory, but the lack of basic acknowledgment or even a simple “sorry about that” made it feel like they just didn’t care.

Not expecting VIP treatment, but when you spend that much and get subpar food and cold service, it’s hard to justify coming back. Really hope this...

So Wendy's has been a REALLY great spot to grab and go. I will STRESS location is key. So after a long day & nearby business activities Wendy's was the decision to feed my starved emptiness. My beau fries were hot fresh & lightly salted to taste, just like we like it & USUALLY are greeted with but my grilled chicken wrap, thankfully discounted with coupon STRONGLY made me not get a refund at first bite. Chicken dry though veggies seemed fresh. Literally had to reverse and get SOMETHING to top the dryness aside from my saliva that tried to help me swallow. I don't normally patronage Mission Glen/Hwy6 between bissonett & bellaire but today wasn't an impression that will bring me back. Didn't mind much the chat among employees however cashier seemed tired & ready to go. Not to mention couldn't answer a good inquiry. Again that might have been the que to leave and go somewhere else but I am tired & starving from my day and WELL previous stops (Wilcrest & Westheimer) at Wendy's were nice. LOCATION is...

Arrived 20-30 minutes before closing, & an older black lady had opened the window to take our order, Her attitude was so bad right away before we even started our order & throughout taking our order she was so rude in the way she spoke, she also didn’t give us ANY sauce when we ordered over 20 nuggets, if you guys are going to hire, make sure the people you’re hiring are capable of working fast food, because clearly this lady doesn’t even have the stature for a fast food job, maybe she can clean the restrooms

UPDATE: 3-4 night ago I decided to order doordash from this Wendy’s location, there was 25 minutes left to order on doordash, and these people sent me the oldest fries and nuggets, they were soooo cold!!! & literally had NO TASTE, this was the first time I had to throw away Wendy’s, this location...
