First Saturday at Moon Valley nursery today and it was worth the drive. Before arriving, James Gonzales organized a dedicated time for him to meet our family and show us their offerings. He was engaged, polite, friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful in understanding our objectives/vision and helping us choose the trees and shrubs that best suit our needs. It’s mother’s day weekend and I literally envision my Saturday morning at a great nursery. My family on the other hand would rather be doing something else, however everybody enjoyed the experience. The nursery is thriving with healthy plants everywhere you look, there are very cool indoor plants and lots of outdoor landscaping items for purchase. Every staff member we saw greeted us, and the entire time with James we felt comfortable to ask questions, and confident we would get great support/service. The company supports veterans and was founded by a fellow Army veteran I believe. We will definitely recommend to all the Sugarland locals and beyond! We have our planting scheduled so I’ll update the post. P.S. my husband actually said “now this is a nursery I could come back to”. UPDATE: Planting went very smooth and the trees are beautiful! We got an email, text and call leading up and the team came ready to go. The trees were in the ground in less than an hour, that’s including watering, mulch and staking. Very knowledgable staff who kept us informed and engaged us very professionally. I will do this all over again with this team. Soil injection treatment is an add-on which we go as its benefits are helping reduce transplant stress and giving the tree a boost in key nutrients to aid in successful transplantation. This comes after planting and the same level of service applies when maintaining your plants/trees FYI. Thanks so much...

New Review: Another excellent review for the staff at Moon Valley Nursery Sugar Land: Nate Fredrics was awesome! He walked with us around the nursery, gave us great advice and helped us pick out the best plants. He even wheeled them around for us and loaded them into our car. He is kind patient and very knowledgeable! Thank you Nate! Unfortunately the flowers we picked, died within a few days of planting. As soon as I discovered the dead plants, 17 out of 18 begonias, I called Moon Valley Nursery as soon as possible. I spoke with James Gonzalez about the problem. We evened Facetimed, so I could show him the dead plants. Full disclosure the other plants we bought that day are all alive and well. James was amazing and arranged for us to come out to Moon Valley and pick out replacement plants. James was extremely helpful, kind and professional. Moon Valley replaced our plants free of charge and even threw in a bag of Land Scape Soil Conditioner. The plants are blooming nicely! Thank you so much, Moon Valley Nursery of Sugar Land! Thank you Dustin and Bret for walking me around and answering all of my questions. The installation crew, led by Alexander was terrific. Such quick and efficient service. And above all they were all professional and kind. The install was performed as promised, and Alexander even got out the measuring tape. We had an excellent experience with Chris Figueroa and Conner McLeod from Moon Valley Nurseries at its Sugar Land location for the planning, design, and installation of landscaping for our new home (front, back and side yard areas). Based on a preliminary site visit, Chris measured and designed a detailed plan with plants thoughtfully selected for each area and purpose. He met with us several more times, both at our home construction site and Moon Valley’s Sugar Land facility, to ensure everything we had discussed was incorporated. His final design suited the aesthetic style of our home, met our user needs, and, importantly, took our budget into consideration. During the implementation, Conner coordinated with Chris to ensure plant placements were in accordance with the agreed plan and did not impact any existing irrigation lines, piping, electrical lines, etc. Conner made certain we were completely satisfied with the placement of all plants, shrubs and trees and readily moved any that required any adjustments in their placement. At all times, we have found Chris and Conner to be conscientious and extremely professional, and they patiently answered all our questions about the long-term maintenance and care of the landscaping. The final deliverable has exceeded our expectations and we are grateful for the compliments extended by our neighbors regarding our newly installed yard.
