This was hands down one of the worst takeout experiences we’ve ever had — and it happened today.
We ordered four items, and here's what we received:
First item was completely wrong (not what we ordered).
Two items were clearly made from pre-packaged snack packets, not freshly prepared as you'd expect when ordering from a restaurant. To be specific, the Bhel Puri was made using a SWAD Bombay Bhel Ready-to-Eat packet — the exact same one we buy at Vishala Grocery. There was zero effort involved.
The fourth item (dahi wada) came straight from the freezer. It was likely a frozen item from Deep or a similar brand — again, something we regularly buy at the grocery store. The worst part? It wasn’t even appropriately thawed. Just cold, soggy, and clearly not made in-house. Didn't even attempt to make a dish out of it. Come on… seriously?
When I called to complain, the lady on the phone didn’t know if a refund could even be issued. Her response was: (about the wrong item ) “You have the item, and you’re going to eat that, though.” Excuse me? I didn’t order it — why would I eat it? And no, I’m not about to drive back to return something I didn't order, and you gave me the wrong item.
The level of unprofessionalism was shocking. No apology, no accountability, and absolutely no sense of customer service.
Honestly, it feels like they’re just taking customers’ money and handing out frozen or grocery store frozen items without any care or integrity.
“Ridiculous” doesn’t even begin to describe this experience!
We won’t be ordering again, and I strongly recommend others stay away — unless you want to waste your time, money, and appetite on frozen meals and grocery store snacks disguised as...

The menu at Vishala is a testament to the richness and diversity of vegetarian Indian cuisine. The Aloo Gobi was a delightful medley of potatoes and cauliflower, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The variety of breads, from soft and fluffy naan to crisp and savory paratha, complemented our meal beautifully.

If you know what a proper Gujarati cousin—I mean cuisine—tastes like, and you’ve been missing that warm, homemade, mamma-style food… trust me, you can’t give this place anything less than 5 stars.
The Kathiyawadi Thali is a straight-up emotional experience. It’s got all the right flavors, perfectly balanced – from the spicy Sev Tamatar (🔥but in a good way) to the comforting, authentic Gujarati Kadhi. And oh my Rotlo! That rustic Rotlo with just Lahsun Chutney? Forget everything else — that alone is worth the trip. I almost teared up.
Now, yes, you might find better Chinese, North Indian, or South Indian food at other places nearby — but don’t make that rookie mistake. You’re in a Gujarati restaurant. Order Gujarati food. It’s not rocket science, folks.
Also tried the Methi Gota — so fresh, crispy, and bursting with flavor.
Special shoutout to the sweet girl working the floor — I forgot to ask her name, but she was going around checking on every table like a boss. Super polite, super energetic, and made everyone feel welcome. A+ service!
And bonus: there’s a huge Indian grocery store right next door with the same name — perfect for grabbing that pack of Khakhra or other items on your way out.
I’m 1000% coming back the next time I’m...
