Tried this today on a whim, and glad I did. Myself and 2 others ordered the samosa bites, a Bacon Bliss burger, the Double Fusion burger, a lamb gyro wrap, and some curly fries.
The woman at the counter was very helpful, happy to answer our questions about the menu and offered some suggestions. She was very transparent about the wait (15-20 minutes), as everything is made fresh. She encouraged us to settle in with one of their board games while we waited, so we helped ourselves to Uno and grabbed a seat.
The dining area is very small, and we were the only people in the restaurant (around 1:30 on a Saturday).
The samosas came out first. Seasoned on the outside of the crispy shell, piping hot. The inside had a classic samosas flavor, and they were served with a wonderful sweet chili sauce. They even threw in an extra one, free of charge! Spicy, crunchy, and delicious!
The burgers and fries came out next. The Double Fusion was a massive burger, stuffed with toppings, and dripping with sauce. Everything was seasoned well, and the patties had a satisfying beefy taste. The bun soaked up some juice and got a little soggy, but held up well. Many napkins required! The Bacon Bliss was a similar experience, but I found myself thinking the patty got a little lost as compared to the Double Fusion. Still delicious, however!
The fries were standard curly fries, but they were dusted with a light parmesan (I think) seasoning that made them superior.
The gyro wrap came out last, and as we waited, the woman at the counter cane and let us know that the wrap had fallen apart on the first go, so they were remaking it. When the wrap did arrive, it was indeed stuffed to the gills with lamb and veggies, but I did think it was a little light on the meat. The lamb was seasoned well and tasty, but I wish there had been more of it. The wrap was fine, but it did leave me wishing I'd ordered the burger.
As we were finishing up, we were served up a couple of brownie bites and chocolate cheesecake bites, again on the house! The brownie was phenomenal, and was everyone's favorite. The cheesecake was also good, but very rich. A little too sweet.
There are plenty of other items on the menu, and I'll definitely be back for more. If you're in the area,...
   Read moreHey everyone!
I came to Wingeats a couple weeks after moving back to the area from Las Vegas. Last time I was here, this place was a Papa Johnâs.
My sister and I noticed it days before and she said she hadnât tried it. So we wanted to go back and try it eventually.
Ironically, I was doing food-delivery one night, and I had a delivery from this establishment.
The owner was SO, SO generous and kind! He had a few wings leftover from the batch he made for the customer who ordered the food, and he offered me a couple to sample.
Let me tell youâŠ.THE BEST WINGS Iâve had in a LOOONG TIME!!!! I forgot what the flavor was, it was like lemon pepper mixed with buffalo, and I donât even like lemon pepper at all but these were absolutely DELICIOUS!!!
He didnât stop there. He offered my son a cookie and a brownie, and a soda, then offered me a soda. I told him he REALLY didnât have to give me all of this, but he insisted.
He (the owner) and his daughter were both so amazing. They have outstanding customer service skills. Their wings donât taste like any other, and seriouslyâŠyou can taste the love and care they put into their food. You canât get authentic wings like this other places. Itâll be hard to find. The wings were bursting with flavor.
Iâm definitely going to become a regular and try everything that appeals to me while Iâm here.
Thank you again to you both! Iâll never forget you!đđ€
Head over to Wingeats and try them out if you havenât already. You WONâT be...
Read moreIâm going to echo another 1-star review about service. Iâm so disappointed because the food bloggers really hyped this place up.
I drove over an hour after work to take my non-Muslim friend who lives nearby to WingEats and unfortunately I left embarrassed and horrified. When we walked in there was a couple seated and no one at the counter. We looked at the menu for a few minutes, then someone walked in behind us and was greeted after a few minutes before us. The guy behind us was asked if he had a pick up order and it was given to him. After the women behind the counter was done and we were ready to order, she sighed at us and told us we would have to wait 10-15 minutes because âshe had something to do.â She said we could go and order online if we wanted to. We sat down to do just that but then when we reflected on what just happened, from being ignored to treated rudely, we decided to go some place else.
I really wish all small businesses well and I was so excited to share this with my friend but there are other halal businesses in the area that can be supported. I hope staff/management take this into consideration and implement training and some restaurant management. If theyâre not able to take walk-in/dine-in guests then advertise that. I understand if orders were backed up, but no human decency was shown on a Thursday evening, thereâs no...
