The owner of YUMMI Food Truck deserves a zero star rating. I had a disappointing experience at YUMMI Food Truck because that guy who is the owner of that food truck treated me very bad and disrespectfully. My family and I were sitting on a bench next to the food truck when I ordered soup to-go. Unfortunately, the soup container was not properly sealed, which resulted in a spill inside the plastic bag. His other employee gave me to go soup box and that box wasn't closed properly and soup got spill into the plastic bag. My family was sitting on a bench next to his food truck. When I grab that plastic bag and went to sit on a bench next to his food truck, I realized that the soup spilled all over the plastic bag because the box wasn't closed properly. I took that bag and gave back to that YUMMI food truck owner, and I told him that the box wasn't closed right due to which the soup spilled all over the plastic bag. That YUMMI food truck rude owner started yelling at me and said, "madam, you should have been careful, how could you do this. I am going to give you the same soup from this plastic bag, and you aren't getting a new one." I am like what excuse it is not my fault. What kind a behavior is this. The owner of this food truck is so disrespectful and rude. My money got wasted because he gave me in a small box meaning less quantity, and I ordered a family size soup box for $9.95. I’m never going back this food truck ever again, it was my second time trying out food from this food truck and probably 💯 sure it’s...
Read moreFood truck serving authentic Indo-Chinese cuisine and being from Bombay, was very excited to try them out. Let’s talk about the positives, 10/10 service, very polite staff, warm and friendly. Good amount of seating available in an open space so great for group friends to visit during evenings.
Coming to the main part - the food, I have rated it 2 just because of their humongous portion sizes otherwise the taste was below average. We ordered Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Schezwan Noodles and Chicken Lollipops. All three dishes meats felt and smelt weird. A prominent smell of raw meat lingered throughout. The noodles were extremely salty and we had to eventually throw it in trash. The fried rice lacked flavour. Chicken lollipops weren’t cooked well and had more batter than chicken. I am usually a person who would want to give a place another chance given that they have really good ratings but I am quite disappointed and might not visit again. However I hope this is a one off thing and we just visited them on a bad day!...
Read moreI usually try not to leave the bad reviews, but after watching some 5*, I realized this needs to be addressed. I am in favor of supporting small businesses, but they have to realize that they charge more than a restaurant price and provide horrible food. Ordered Chicken Manchurian & Shrimp fried rice as per the owner's recommendation. Quantity: The portion was unexpectedly so generous, but I realized that it was mostly curry & it had only few maybe 5-6 pcs of chicken & the same goes with the Shrimp hardly 7-8 pcs shrimps with lot of rice. Taste : The food was so spicy that you couldn't even eat rice alone. Since when did the chinese make spicy food. There's a difference between using spicy & spices. Also, they serve additional spicy sauce with it🤦♂️ Tbh, we did not like it at all. I guess Jade Ly is a lot better...
