Boomarang Diner - Sulphur — Restaurant in Sulphur

There are only 7 tables being occupied and the 2 servers cannot manage to get orders correct. Let alone get the orders correct. She completely forgot my mom's coffee. Then when I asked again she brought cold old coffee. I have had to flag down server twice for refills until I finally went to the cash register and asked her to fill up 2 cups with tea so she wouldn't have to be running back and forth since she couldn't manage the few tables she already had. When we originally asked to order she gave me a dirty smirk and was like yeah okay. 30 minutes later we got Half our order. My mother got 2 eggs then later got the fries then never got the biscuits and gravy that went to her meal. We waited for the bill for over 15 min. The floor was dirty and there are insects in the light fixture in the bathroom. Server refused to take off the meal she forgot to bring to the table as a complete meal. Normally when you ask to speak to a manager they come out promptly instead he is cooking up order after order he gave me an attitude and told me "he had other people to take care of and would be out when he could" In the end I changed this review from 1 star to 3 because the manager apologized and explained that they were understaffed and...

I guess it's my fault for not leaving when the booth we choose had a cockroach crawling on it. After switching to a new booth it took a long time to put our order in. The hubs and I each ordered a salad with no tomatoes and our son ordered the hamburger plate. Our salads came out with tomatoes, but not to worry the waitress was nice enough to fetch us bowls so we could pick them out. Yuck. My son's meal was described as a hamburger Patty on Texas toast topped with french fries and gravy. Unfortunately there was a super small Patty and no french fries. His meal was 1/4 of a small plate. Bummer. Had to wait for fries. At this point I have discovered a hair battered into my chicken bite and I have lost all will to eat. Take my advice and look for somewhere else to eat. Took a large group of 8 at around 8:00 knowing they close at 9:00. Ordered burgers, fries, omelette, chicken fried steak, and chicken strips. Noticed one girl cleaning tables and waiting on another customer. She was great! The rest of the wait staff were very unproffessional. Food was dropped twice because the young man waiting on us was unproffessional and careless. There was another young lady behind the counter on her phone and also taking orders from the house phone. The burgers and fries were good. The chicken strips were good but the chicken fried steak was unedible and only had about 10 french fries and had to wait for the gravy to be brought out, get dropped and have to be brought out. The omelet was cold by the time the toast was brought out, dropped, then brought out again. Bottom line—find somewhere...
