Waffle House — Restaurant in Sulphur

My family of 3 tried to dine here on Monday, July 3rd, 2023 during the lunch rush. When we entered the restaurant, there was a group of 4 in front of us and the restaurant was packed. None of the 4 Waffle House employees working at the time greeted us. After a few minutes, this group went to sit down at 2 sets of clean 2-person tables that were next to each other. My husband found an empty 4-person table that still needed to be bussed. As we were standing next to the table waiting for the table to be cleaned, the waitress did not acknowledge us at all. She continued to serve the surrounding tables all around us. When my husband politely asked for the table to be bussed. The waitress completely ignored my husband. The second time my husband asked, the waitress rudely said, "There's only two of us [waitresses] here, I'll get there!" We overheard the 2nd waitress say to the first waitress, "your money is still on that table." Only then did the first waitress come over to start cleaning our table. She grabbed her tip and picked up some of the dirty dishes and left again. After a few minutes of tending to some other tables, she came back and continued to clear the table. My 3 year old daughter was sitting on the bench at this dirty table as the waitress was cleaning. This waitress clearly did not want to serve us and rudely said to us, "I don't want to hit you, can you please move!" During this entire time, we were not welcomed and treated rudely. They clearly did not want our business and we did not want to give them our business. We left without ordering. We will NEVER come back and DO NOT recommend coming here. Worst waffle house experience I think I've had and I go to waffle houses all over the country. Waiter was a joke, cook was a joke, the other waitress there seemed decent. Waited 10 minutes to even get spoken to, then almost another 10 for my coffee to get there, followed by another 5 before i ever got a spoon. and 2 waitresses and at the time 3 guest. That's ridiculous, waiter seemed like he'd gotten high a few times to many neither of them seemed like they cared to be there. Had to repeat my order like 4 or 5 times bc he kept confusing himself trying to repeat it back. 20 minutes later the food was done then it sat there on the bar another 10 minutes before it was ever brought over, already getting cold. Then had another 10 minute wait before I could get a fork to eat with, after already asking for silverware before when asking for a spoon. Hashbrowns over cooked bacon burnt, toasty barely even toasted. Then waited5 minutes at the register guy come up looked at me said oh just a minute then disappeared again for another 5 or so minutes. No tip, and have serious thought to dashing and i ain't even that...

I ask my freind from tx where did she want to eat so we live close by waffle house on ruth st in Slogur La because she likes the food so we went to the one at 2621 Ruth st.Girl ask what we wanted we wanted coffee first we got old stale coffee and dirty cups and i told her and she said that wasn't all that was dirty and she said it was the night crews fault because they dont use bleach so she said her mom worked there and said it was always dirty it should of been cleaned before she brought it to me so it was her fault so she let the guy bring me another cup coffee witch he was eating while waiting on me and food was flying i dont like to complain but it was embarrassing and not to mention disgusting for this man tostand at our table but food flying from his rotten teeth and clothes filthy and that was the worse experience i ever had and very embarrassing to me for my friend my disabled sons not knowing any better had already stared to eat and the bill was 57$ ( reasonable price but terrible experience!
