Oyo Townhouse Sulphur,LA Extended Stay I-10 — Hotel in Sulphur

This place is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in… If I could give it zero stars I would… First off, I ended up getting bed bug bites all over my body… I let personnel know and nothing was done about it. The reason I stayed even after the fact was because I couldn’t afford to book another venue at that time but as soon as my per diem hit I left… Also Not only did it smell like weed in hallway but also only 1 dryer worked out of 3… no sign “out of order” sign was posted on said dryer that i didn’t notice until it was time to take clothes out clothes was still wet. Wasted 30 mins and $… I told the front desk person about issue and her response was they have to call technician that’s 2 hours away in Houston… Didn’t even care to reimburse the me $3.00… Lastly A/C unit only stayed on Cool and wouldn’t let me switch it to Heat, with weather in 40’s is just uncalled for… Just got off phone with OYÓ representative and clearly seemed not to care just said they would look into it… Look into refunding me my money thats what you need to do… I’m sending this review to all platforms Expedia, Hotels, Booking,...

This hotel is a safe and clean, bug free, drug free, loitering free place to bring your family and kids. We had a top floor (3rd floor) room that honestly surprised me when I walked in to check the room after purchase. The room opened up to a kitchenette, a living room with TV, A/C unit, Window & Futon. Then there’s a separate bedroom with the same things except with 2 Full size beds. The bathroom inside of the bedroom is exquisitely clean and well taken care of. The management and employees in this hotel are incredibly friendly and helpful. We got a great room for our family at a great rate. This is the place you want to go especially if you’re out-of-towners and/or have children with you. There’s a gas station down the road, a Waffle House across the street & it is about 6min from Chili’s restaurant, Cane’s Chicken fingers, Walmart, Fast Food & much much more! ** DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE * After our Rv caught fire we had to have a roof over our head and we decided on oyo great price , great location for getting on the interstate. People were nice ( at first) we only asked for towels, and sheets. They never had a complaint about us at all. we cleaned our own room sweeped and mopped every day not only to keep it clean but because we have a dog and two cats. We checked out this morning after we sweeped and mopped after we got all our things out. Husband went to get our deposit back they said no over a small spot on the sheets where husband spilled well when I called to talk to the manager she said it was dirty, dog hair every where and trash and when I told her there was no way she hung up on me (not professional at all ) we are clean people even at hotels. We are getting ready to go up north and need every penny we can. I do not recommend this...
