I recently purchased a home in the area and was ecstatic to see a coffee shop down the street. Not just any old chain coffee shop but a cute one with good reviews. I’m an early riser and their doors open at 6:30am. I was in the parking lot at 6:30am. The front door was open, so I assumed they were ready for business. I walked in at 6:38am to be turned away for 15 minutes as the female staff up front said she needed more time. I understood, so I spent time reading the menu and enjoying the decor. A couple minutes later an older gentleman walks in. Seemed like a regular as he was greeted by name. The same person who told me 15 minutes, took his order right of way. My jaw dropped. I consider service to a top priority for business and clearly this person behind the counter didn’t agree. I sat there for another 30 minutes as she took the orders of others rolling through the door. A simple notification that she was ready would have been nice, but maybe I was expecting too much. On the plus side, the coffee and food smelt...
Read moreI truly wanted to give this 5 stars, but their menu is so grossly misleading I feel compelled to be honest and give this 2 stars.
Their menu is loaded with false advertising of their food, talk about massive disappointment when we got our food. My nephew wanted a pb&j and the kind in the menu looked divine (full of fresh strawberries in a croissant). I ordered a sandwich myself. When we got our food… holy crap was it depressing. The peanut butter and jelly weren’t even out into the bread, we had to make it ourselves. Not to mention my sandwich was so dilapidated and depressing it looked NOTHING like the photos from their menu.
This felt like some lame tourist trap you see in places in Italy. The other sad part is the first 4 items we wanted to order they couldn’t make or were out of…just a mess.
If you want an espresso and that’s it, this is the place for you, jt anhrbjng remotely delicious or edible from this place just avoid it at all costs. So...
Read moreI saw this place on Google maps and thought it was worth a try. I was thoroughly impressed! The place had a nice European cafe vibe/ambience, which we enjoyed. From the outside, you’d never expect it to be nice and busy inside. I had the egg and provolone croissant sandwich and the “waffles and more”, while my mother had the avocado toast with poached egg. Everything was good, and we were very pleased with the taste and the freshness! The price was also good. My only complaints, however, are that they didn’t have bananas (the waffle was supposed to have bananas on it along with other berries), and that the strawberry smoothie (was supposed to be a strawberry banana smoothie) resembled a slushie in texture rather than smoothie. Despite this, the food was great overall, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone...
