Go in with eyes open as they are no longer the same service professionals of Laz Boy past that I am accustomed to as in times past and while this is only my opinion here is my experience. I went in to this store on flamingo on Jan 22, 2021 to look at recliners and found one but it was broke when I tried it but the Designer helping me assured me mine wouldn't be like the floor model and have issues. My recliner a Neal Power Wall recliner with power head rest was delivered on Jan 26, 2021 and all went fine for a while until in March when the recliner broke in similar fashion i noticed to the floor model. I called the store talked to the designer who helped me who referred me to the manager and she noted the store would try to work with corporate and take the recliner back and eat half the cost which I was happy about to get a different model that don't have issues and be more comfortable with, but I would also have to talk to customer care for the other half. I called comfort care and they were unwilling to hear me out and would only send a technician a week or two later to evaluate the recliner then they would let me know which I never received a return call from comfort care yet after the Tech came to evaluate. So the tech came found where the problem is in a mechanism and said he would order the part and they would contact me once they had confirmation the part was delivered to me to discuss my recliner further (no follow up from comfort care). The part arrive over a week ago and comfort care has yet to reach out to me. I called the store but they only could refer me to comfort care again in which I really think that name they call themselves is anything but for your comfort that is caring at this point. So today I called comfort care today again after sitting for 35 minutes and 32 seconds on hold (yes I timed it) and the rep came on the line and said sorry for not staying in contact and there is still another part on back order and there is no time line for that to come in at this point. So i noted i don't understand why they were happy to take my money but not offer what is the right thing to do and give me a new recliner. She got with her next level supervisor to see what could be done. She came back and said the supervisor has four calls ahead of us and didn't want to keep me on the line holding more but she will email them to have them see what can be done and i should hear from them in the next two days to see if they will step up and take care of me and replace the recliner with a different model. So here at this point i sit with no real progress to speak of. I will say that the last rep i spoke to was willing to hear me out and kind but advised me she doesn't have the authority to help further at this time. Edit: After waiting 4 weeks to call for a delivery schedule on 2 couches I was told were in stock they said it would be another 6 weeks before they were in stock, so the in stock story was a lie. Unfortunate for us because we loved the 2 Couches. I demanded my refund because we need furniture asap. Got the refund and went to RC WILLEY'S and had our new furniture delivered 4 days later. I know this review was some time ago now and I wrote a quick review that did not highlight the severity of how bad this experience truly was. We were lied to. Also told we have to pay the full amount now rather than half down and half upon delivery. We shopped this store for years. Prices were higher but we were happy with product quality and comfort. We were in 2 weeks earlier and found the Couches we wanted and at their regular daily price the total out the door would be $4,225. When we returned 2 weeks later we were told inflation was driving their prices up a bit. A bit I can deal with, but the exact same Couches out the door taxes and delivery were almost 40% higher plus an extra $200 delivery charge they already quoted me on and said the quote was good for 30 days. 12 days later they did not honor the quote and said the Couches were now costing me $6,600 and that is not including taxes and delivery. I needed the furniture so I bought them with the promise of a call within 4 days to schedule delivery. That dragged out for 12 weeks total with one excuse after the next. Finally I had to call Police down and gave them all of my documentation of 30 day guaranteed quotes being yanked away. The 40% price hike after I already paid. And the fact we were approaching our 14th week when we had documentation from them guaranteeing us delivery in a week. So the cops told the 2 managers/owners that I will be refunded now or they both would be arrested right now for theft and bad faith business practices. My documentation was concrete and in a folder from Lazy Boy signed by both these women guaranteeing all I am saying here. All of it together after taxes and delivery and some B.S add ons had my new total at $7,300. So they were demanding another $700 before filling my order. These people are crooks. What is sad is that in the past 10 years before this my family bought a house full of their products. We spent well over $120,000 and they lost us forever as customers who upgrade our interior ever 3 to 4 years. The future money they lost was just endless. Stay away from...
Read moreThis Location was Super Helpful taking the time to let us pick the pattern we wanted. We were treated with excellent service, after reading the previous reviews I am shocked to see that others had a horrible time, but the reviews were pre-pandemic.
The salesperson (Mary) that helped us was excellent, asking questions for the needs of our chair. In our case we were looking for a chair for my mother who is elderly and has a hard time standing up after sitting. Mary asked questions about mothers height, weight & ailments. She showed us to a lift type chair and it was perfect - we didn't like the color/fabric on display but she told us that we can choose a different color/fabric & directed us to an area where they have many options to choose from (probably over 80 different styles/patterns) this was Awesome.
Basically La-Z-Boy offers this service for a low cost, this helps to fit your needs to match a room or existing furniture - the cool thing is that La-Z-Boy has a computer program that can show how the color/fabric will look on the furniture your ordering. Note: When changing the colors/fabric it takes some time for the item(s) to be completed so if time isn't a factor then this is the way to go - (this is mainly due to the pandemic- everything takes longer - UGH) Another note: if you want to change the color of the chair/couch legs they have options to choose from ( going to either a lighter or darker color).
