La Carreta Méxican Restaurant — Restaurant in Summersville

If 0 or negative stars were an option I’d leave that. We were there with family while vacationing in WV and my daughter who has recently turned 21 was carded, no problem, But the waiter took her ID and then walked away which was very accusatory in and of itself. We ordered a pitcher of raspberry margaritas and when the waiter returned with regular margaritas we explain to him that we ordered raspberry and instead of apologizing or even acknowledging us he just turned rolled his eyes and walked away. After being treated rude unjustly Twice now we decided this person should not be interacting with people at all and they don’t deserve our business.Unfortunately I will never know about the food because we will never return. We went to Applebee’s where there was a long line And more than half of the Mexican restaurant was open. That should have told me everything. My warning, save yourself the headache and just go...

Very dissapointing. We've been eating here for the last 10 years, faithful customers. Last few visits have been dissapointing. The visit yesterday, will be our last. Was seated with restaurant just half full, not overly busy Sunday afternoon. Server took 10 minutes to even acknowledge us. Walked past us several times.W gave our order, my husband's arrived and was wrong and lacked an extra item he ordered. Server walked away, 20 minutes lapsed, empty drinks on table and empty salsa bowl at the edge begging for a refill. Extra item never brought out, meal was incorrect, drinks never filled etc.. server returned only when my husband left to find the owner. Husband complained to the owner and was told " if service was bad don't leave a tip'. No I'm sorry, no apologizes, no anything. We would've bought more drinks and dessert. Will not be returning. We will drive to the Mexican restaurant 30 minutes away instead of...

Terrible. The food was decent but the service was horrible. Upon addressing the waiter on his attitude he stood over and hovered and wanted to know what our problem was. We asked to see the manager and he kept saying “what’s the problem “. When the manager finally came he said “that was his best waiter and we were out of line”. It went from bad to worse at that point. When my husband who has parkiston was paying expressing his opinion the cashier was laughing and smirking, when I asked her what was funny she said “he’s just making noises”. The manager came back over and started mouthing off again so my husband retorted back and the manager who found out was the owner went outside with two other staff members waited for us in the parking lot. Now keep in mind it was myself, my husband and my sister and law. So to sum this up it was 2 females and a gentleman with parkiston disease. Needless to say we won’t go back...
