Unfortunately my husband and myself just left from the Groucho's located in Summerville SC and what we hoped for an awesome experience with great food and customer Service...we were sadly dissatisfied. Not our first time tasting the food which we once had formly catered last year, visiting the restuarant today was our first time. We was unsure to as if we were to seat ourselves or wait. So we went up to the counter to place our order, a young lady did greet us but as we were looking at menus then placing our order i felt like we were being rushed. Payed for our order we never were asked once if the order was to stay or take out so we then proceeded to have a seat. The young girl brought us the drinks we ordered our wait was short approximately 10 mins top. Where I'm a bit disgusted is with the other young lady who brought our food out which was already in to-go boxes and bags she placed the bag on the table and walked off. The way she placed the bag on the table was as if we wasn't welcomed to dine in there if we even started to from the beginning. It just felt akward I've worked in food places hell i work at a restaurant and i don't give customer service like this. I'm not sure i want to even go back i rather go spend $30 at a place with better service. Management needs to be aware of the two employees who worked on feb/3/2019 at the time of 12:40 pm and speak to them...

Update: 10/26/2021 Ordered food through a delivery service for my job. When it arrived our order was mixed up in different boxes, so we had to hand remove specific items to make it right. Not Cool. Lettuce was missing on my sandwhich that I paid an upcharge for. Potato Salad is disgusting (just a heads up). Was given a bag of potato chips instead of the pretzels that were requested for an additional fee. When contacting the store to speak to the the manager on duty I was met with a lack of care was told they were out of pretzels and waiting for a delivery. When asked about the charge I was told to contact the delivery service. Good management would have simply said, "Our apologies. We receive truck deliveries on these days. Let me have your name and we will make sure to get you what you paid for." It's been awhile since I've eaten at Groucho's, and it will be another while before...
Read moreI ordered from them off Uber Eats two nights in a row. The first night three delivery drivers attempted to pick up my order and it wasn’t ready. They ended up closing without fixing my food and my order got canceled. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried again the next night making sure to call to double check they received my order, when I called the girl lied and said my driver the night before showed up at 8:30. There were THREE that tried. The second night the driver showed up less than 30 mins after I called the store and she had to wait over 15 mins for my order, I made my order at 6:30 and it wasn’t ready until 7:30 . I tried to call and they didn’t answer, but answered my husbands number directly after.
