DO NOT ORDER THE "CHARCUTERIE" BOARD. Waste of money.

We went here late last night, but well within business hours and were told the food items would be somewhat limited due to the oven being recently shut down. A little odd to shut down the oven during business hours... But No problem at all! We were looking at getting something light after the movies anyways. The Charcuterie menu is the weirdest way I've ever seen ANY establishment offer a charcuterie board. You can pay for either 1, 2, or 3 "items" such as meats or cheeses. Depending on what you order, you just get bread for 1 item, bread and nuts for 2 items and slightly more for 3.... A very strange way of doing things. Mind you, each "item" is $12-$14 EACH. Well, we ordered the 2 item option and for cheese, we got two small wedges of cheese and maybe... MAYBE** 8 paper thin sliced salami each only about as round as a quarter. The board was 80% bread, which in itself was 80% air pockets, a small handful of very bland nuts; And the mustard was clearly the store bought, squeeze bottle kind. The mustard isn't an issue though. But I'm really upset about how miniscule the amount we received for the insane price of our charcuterie board. A charcuterie board, something that is a normally well stocked board of varieties of meats, cheeses and fruits, crackers, breads, etc.... was turned into this completely lame duck, over priced, practically empty, poor excuse of a board that doesn't even deserve to be named as what it's sold as.

Wine was good though, thankfully that's fair priced. Oh and the server was...

PHE-NOM-IN-ALLL!!! From the hardened hand-shake to the attentive staff and upbeat ambiance the experience at Jason's Joint does NOT disappoint!!!

The oftentimes exotic & regularly unique charcuterie and finger fare menus are quite delectable and refreshingly satiating more especially to discerning palates.

The micros both local and regional, as well as a most eclectic tap selection of brews perfectly compliment the menus.

The extensive & exclusive wine selection is a novice oenophile's joy for it's local and immediate availability & consumption.

Jason loves his place, the clientele, & his wines which is evident in his personally hand-picked collections so perfectly demonstrated during his Wednesday Wine Tastings of which he is the sommelier.

As such he guides you through each region of the evening's themed choices and possesses an in depth working knowledge of each of them. It's amazing to witness & partake of his most heartfelt desire to educate the masses, connoisseurs and the curious alike.

GREAT Date Night and wonderfully worthwhile venture into...

What a fantastic find for a night out in Summerville, SC! Looked for something local that was open past 9pm, and this spot fit the bill, and then some!

The owner was super-knowledgeable about the wines he has in stock, and wasn't pretentious about his knowledge (like you may find in other wine bars). He walked us around his cellar in the restaurant, giving his take on great wines from multiple wine regions from around the world, as well as breaking down interesting tidbits about the grapes used in different regions & answering any questions we had about certain varieties.

If you're not into wine, they also have a nice selection of craft beers in bottles and a few on tap. We didn't get around to trying their Tapas offerings, but there were some mouth-watering options to choose from, as well as good wine-pairing options to go along with your glasses of vino! We're going to try to make a return trip before our trip is over to explore this...

We were visiting family in Summerville SC from NJ and wanted to grab a bit before the visit. We are so happy we found the Wine & Tapas Bar in Summerville – as we love wine. For us it was a perfect find. They certainly invested in the decor', a wonderful ambiance to enjoy wine and some delicious bites. We started with a 4 item charchari board 2 meats and 2 cheese (sorry forgot to take a picture), all were great especially the pistachio nut infused salami. We then had the smoked salmon and chicken salad sliders - both were fabulous. Had 2 bottles of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and bought another 2 bottles to take to our family visit. Highly recommend the Wine & Tapas Bar in Summerville SC.

We discovered this place a year and a half ago while on a house hunting trip and have returned many times since moving to the area. It is simply the best! Fantastic wine (I love the sweet La Matota!) and very clever snacks (you won't regret ordering the meatballs!) Definitely a great variety of foods and charcuterie that you won't see elsewhere, with very unique flavors. My husband isn't huge on wine, so he loves the massive beer menu, and we both enjoy the addition of the meads. I will also add, their prices are very reasonable, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. We have enjoyed live music and trivia, as well as simple quiet evenings here.

Went there for a paint n sip. Asked bartender what they had without alcohol. Told they could make mocktails. So I ordered one. To find out that their fake cocktails were $14.50. When asked I was told that was the price. That’s a high price to pay for no alcohol. When I messaged them about the Mocktail I was told that this person didn’t know they offered mocktails. I have no problem spending money on alcohol but not on a fake cocktail. The service was good. The drink was nice. Just overpriced.
