First I'd like to say this had absolutely nothing to do with our server, she was wonderful and without us asking offered to fix it. The food on the other hand was sadly terrible other than my fried shrimp poboy which I would compare to any restaurant that isn't a cajun/seafood restaurant. Part of it is just bad cooking and the other is I can't believe the owners run their kitchen this way. I've worked in many restaurants and I've eaten at the Jeffersons in Rome countless times and it's nothing like here. Cold straight from the can pork and beans served as baked beans.. little tip to the restaurant.. if you are going to use pork and beans for baked beans you have to add stuff to it and bake it or cook it in a pot.. toss some chili powder and some brown sugar in there and it'll be more like actual baked beans. The chicken tenders were rubbery.. maybe under cooked or just bad chicken. Shrimp for shrimp tacos literally looked boiled 99.9% sure it was.. no way it was grilled or sauteed. The pattimelt was ummmm not a Patti melt more like a burger on sandwich bread and the burger (can't remember the name of it but it had onions and bbq on it) was slapped together and a disaster. Almost forgot the pickles.. kind of a trademark thing for Jeffersons to me.. they were lumped together and mushy oil soaked breading. Clearly all of this is either due to a kitchen issue and poor choices on how the owners decide to prepare and present their food. Potato salad was ok.. I've never had potato salad be sweet so it wasn't my cup of tea but I'm sure someone may like it that way. There are ways to save money but THIS ISNT IT this hurts business and in the long run looses the place money. Things like this shut restaurants down when they start cutting corners on food quality. The cold pork and beans was what really got me. You can't charge those prices and serve food quality of mcds. Server was wonderful...

Visited while in town today and was not the best experience. While our hostess was very polite and nice, I cannot recommend the food. Ordered the 10 piece boneless wings and when it finally arrived 30 minutes later it was very unappetizing. For starters the “sauce” options include some very unappetizing dry chicken. In addition you get one 2 oz cup of ranch to dip 10 wings with extra going to cost you. Furthermore the meal didn’t include celery or carrot sticks. The side - chips and salsa is also not a recommendation. You get one small 2 oz cup of salsa that tastes like something out of a cheap grocery store. It was hardly enough for 1/3 the chips with extra going to cost you.

When we were asked if everything was okay and I said no, it was not, our hostess was very nice and offered to make something else but being on a time crunch so I had to decline. She returned a short while later and said she spoke with her manager and offered 20% off my meal.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this Jefferson’s. Quality of their food and customer service doesn’t seem to be their top priority. We will not...

Ordered take out through Jefferson's website. Nachos, patty melt and basket of sweet potato fries with a few other sides. When I got home and opened the containers, I found there was no patty melt, but a garden salad instead. Called the restaurant and the employee said "you're patty melt is right here". When I got back to the store, there was no apology, no recooked patty melt or offer to make it right. Only a cold patty melt that had been sitting there for over 30 minutes. I asked to speak to a manager and was given the run around by at least 3 employees that the order came in during shift change and no one present was responsible for the error. They all claimed there was nothing they would do to remove the gratuity from the bill or offer a discount for the cold patty melt. They did offer to have me wait another 20 minutes for them to cook another one, but I refused because my family was at home waiting for me to return so we could eat our now very cold food. I will not return to this restaurant and advise my family and friends to also stay away from Jefferson's -...

Stopped in for dinner while in a family road trip. Walked in and no one really greeted us or told us where to sit. Had to ask a customer if we just seat ourselves. I ordered the fish basket. Definitely frozen fish with and very fishy taste. Fries were way over seasoned. I don’t know how anyone can eat them. While we were trying to eat we were overwhelmed with flies. To the point we just lost our appetite. The wife took the kids out to the car and I was sitting alone when the waitress asked if I needed anything. I said we were all set, but she did not bring the check. She came back a second time and asked if I needed anything. I said the check. When she returned with the check I told her there were a lot of flies in the restaurant. She just looked at me. No response. It was a waste of $60. I do not know how anyone can eat in those conditions. It’s completely unsanitary.

I also over heard them talking about a bad review left today by another customer which prompted to come straight here. While I was on hold my husband went there and told them that I was still on hold. They simply picked up the phone and hung up. They did not apologize which was prolly the most upsetting part. An apology goes a long way when working in customer service. These employees need some classes on professionalism. I have already emailed the the owners earlier this month regarding the rude Employees and never heard back. So clearly the management is the biggest issue. My husband waited 30min for food that was not good at all. Breaks my heart to see a good place go down hill.

Sounds like that old building could use an actual safety inspection for fire systems and electrical hazards..... Kinda of problem with an owner that seems disconnected from his business.... hopefully someone will bring this to what it started as. Shame to see it's almost hops and haze 2 now.... just with Jefferson sign.

Well the decline of Jefferson's at one time this location showed promise, but now it's about a hot mess. Not a shot at the staff by any means.
