Mi Tierra Caliente is like if the sun itself retired from the sky, opened a taco joint, and decided to set your soul on fire with flavor and bliss.

I’m about to sell my car just to fund a lifetime supply of Mi Tierra’s tacos al pastor.

I just maxed out my credit card on enchiladas and didn’t even blink because Mi Tierra is worth ruining my credit for.

I’m taking Spanish lessons just so I can better express my undying love for the queso fundido.

If my boss won’t let me work remotely from a booth at Mi Tierra Caliente, I’ll quit and apply for a job as their official salsa taster.

I just rewrote my will to make sure Mi Tierra Caliente gets everything I own when I’m gone.

I started keeping their tamales in my glove compartment in case of emergencies.

I told my therapist I don’t need sessions anymore because Mi Tierra’s flan has healed me.

I’m considering legally changing my middle name to “Caliente” to honor this masterpiece of a restaurant.

I canceled my gym membership because nothing burns calories like sprinting back to Mi Tierra for seconds.

If you haven’t tried Mi Tierra Caliente yet, you are missing out. Their chips are kissed by the golden rings of Saturn itself, and deserve the...

I stopped in here for lunch on a weekday. 2 other tables were occupied, who's left the restaurant rather empty. One gentleman came in and sat at the bar and ordered his lunch.

It took an extra minute for the waitress to come to the table with a manial, and then chips and sauce were delivered. Wasn't phone to the salsa; It was very ketchup-y tasting. I ordered the trio, so they also brought queso and guacamole. The case I was room temperature, but it was good and the guacamole was chilled and perfect! I loved the flavor the texture and the seasoning of the guacamole.

I ordered a street taco in a flower shell and added fresh cut jalapenos. Delicious! Aside from this, also, the food was great and very authentic.

The wait staff was attentive. They had a full service bar, and some outdoor tables. It was a bit small inside, but it didn't look like they hit capacity, so that wasn't...

We’ve officially found our go-to Mexican restaurant! 🌮 From the start, the warm tortillas and fresh salsa were the perfect appetizer—packed with chopped cilantro, onions, and a delicious tomato base. The Maria Skinny Margarita was hands down the best I’ve ever had, made with fresh mandarin juice. My chicken enchiladas were incredible—perfectly seasoned shredded chicken wrapped in fresh corn tortillas, topped with vegetables and a creamy sauce. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel so welcome. The décor was vibrant, colorful, and authentically Mexican, with everything sparkling clean. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Summerville, parking was also a breeze. To top it all off, we were sent home with a complimentary flan dessert—such a thoughtful touch! What a true Summerville gem. We’ll absolutely be back...
