As a New Yorker I definitely miss my neighborhood deli. I saw this place as a recommendation on Facebook and saved it in my back pocket for when I had a day off as they close earlier. When I went in even though it wasn’t time (lunch) for the hot heros they were willing to make me one. And I was so grateful. I had the chicken sandwhich with bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo. It tasted exactly like I needed it to!! I also picked up a rainbow bagel - the best rainbow bagels aren’t just dyed but have a distinct flavor- this was definitely that. And lastly, I got the rainbow cake because I have been craving rainbow cookies and like with everything else it hit the spot. Highly highly recommend for both the food and customer service!

Nice little restaurant with a few places to sit and enjoy your sub or sandwich. Everything is made to order and comes hot and fast. The seasonings on the food are always great and the staff is accommodating with requests. I feel the Philly from here is better than the Philly from the old philly's restaurant if you miss them give this place a try and you won't be disappointed. The fries are also really good seasoned right after they come out with a good amount of seasoning so they are hot crispy and taste great. I enjoy this little place and most people don't turn their direction but I promise you if you are or have been debating on trying them give them a shot they are fantastic

As a transplant from Jersey, 1 thing i have missed are food items that are known to be the best from the NJ/NY areas. My most favorite is the Taylor ham, egg & cheese sandwiches on a true Kaiser roll. Rinaldis is the best I have had outside of NJ. It brought me home in one taste. Their cheese steak rivals Phillys famous ones. If you are in the area & want a delish Jersey/NY style sandwich, this is the place to go! Excellent!

Unfortunately, I experienced terrible customer service at my favorite Philly Cheese steak deli, Rinaldi's, today. Normally, I would let it go, but since I had a similar incident before I have to speak up and hope the owners find a process improvement. Specifically, the daughter takes orders from customers walking in and she is taking phone calls as well which is difficult. Someone, either walk in customer or call in customer, is going to wait and wait. She tries hard to provide good customer service to both, but she dropped the ball today on my walk in order. After placing my order to dine in, me and my family patiently waited for our philly's. The 3 diners at the table next to us and who came in much later than we did received their food. One of them even asked me what did we order because we were there before them. I responded and got up to check on the status because it had been at least 20 minutes. I would have checked sooner, but I didn't because it was the beginning of the lunch hour and the daughter/cashier/phone receptionist was doing her best. She advised that my order was coming. I told her that we had been there patiently waiting for over 20 minutes now. She then began checking for our ticket with the cooking team. They finally realized that the sandwiches had been made, but we're labeled "call in" and had been sitting on the counter all the time. The father yelled at the daughter about it said she should have noticed customers sitting there without ever receiving their food. The daughter and mother began to unwrap the sandwiches and put them in dine-in containers. I advised that I didn't want those sandwiches, but wanted fresh hot sandwiches made because that is what I paid for. The father asked about the order and I told him. I also came to the daughter's defense a little bit because she is doing 3 jobs and is bound to make a mistake. I also thought considering the mistake that there would be some type of "comp" for the next visit or maybe a small refund on part of my order. By the way, my order was nearly $52, sandwiches, chips, drinks, dessert which included 2 tiramisu's. I asked for a refund for the tiramisu's as a reasonable compensation for my time and their poor customer service. The mother advised that they made me fresh sandwiches and didn't give refunds. I told her the fact that I wanted fresh sandwiches made was because I paid for fresh sandwiches, but I didn't expect to wait 30 minutes to get them. I advised her that I would be posting a negative review regarding theit poor customer service. It is clear that this is a mom and pop deli operation with great food. The customer service can greatly improve if they hired someone part-time to answer the phones and deal with the delivery pick up orders during the 3 to 4 hour lunch rush like Charleston Deli and other businesses have which is a different line completely to eliminate the confusion and the daughter is not jumping back and forth. I stated in the beginning of this post that I had a similar incident before well ironically it was another customer in the deli waiting to get their order. The customer asked me how long I had been waiting. I stated not long. The customer said he had been waiting a long time for a Philly Cheese steak and would not come back because of the customer service. I couldn't relate, but I now...

Let's start with this...not only do we have Yous Guys for Hoagies (subs), cheese steaks on Folly Rd. James Island, Rinaldi's Deli can be the place up here, Ladson area. The food I got was a Cheese steak and Italian hoagie, or know as a sub in Charleston. I also got an everything bagel, you know it's good when you start eating it while you're driving. When I asked where it came from, fortunately it was N.Y., and not the bagel place I went to once. The cheese steak was excellent. It had a ton of meat on it. The cheese and onions were perfect and mayo and ketchup made it better. The Italian sub, hoagie, was really great. The meat, cheese and roll were almost perfect, the meat was sliced a bit too thick, that's all. Watching the three people working the grill, the sandwich area and the fryer really took me back to when my dad had luncheonettes in Philly. Everybody worked and kept their eyes on what they were doing.

  • UPDATE .. I got takeout this week. My husband, born and raised in Ladson, his parents from Johnsonville, really liked the Cheese steak. He asked if they had "whiz" since I always talked about it on cheese steaks. Maybe add that? In my previous review, I loved everything, but the Italian hoagie meat was really sliced thick. This time the meat was perfectly...

DONT WALK, RUN! To the best sandwich shop in town! Breakfast and Lunch!

Rinaldis Deli in Ladson SC is a must-visit place for anyone who wants to experience the best deli sandwiches in town. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly baked bread and cured meats fills the air, and your mouth starts to water in anticipation.

Their menu offers an extensive selection of sandwiches, soups, salads, and sides. But, what really sets them apart is the quality of the ingredients. The meats are expertly cured, the bread is soft and fresh, and the toppings are flavorful and plentiful.

The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to make recommendations or offer suggestions. The atmosphere is cozy, with comfortable seating and charming decor.

The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. You'll definitely leave feeling satisfied and wanting to come back for more.

Overall, Rinaldis Deli is a gem in Ladson SC, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic deli experience. Five...
